Whale siting success! - Although recent sitings had been limited, we were able to video that tail rising out of the ocean - it was great.

An unforgettable experience - A fantastic experience! Our guide Heiner is passionate about the sea, and knows how to pass on his passion to his clients. Soon after leaving we could already see a humpback whale and its calf, and also some dolphins. They took care of us all the way, with fruit, water and snacks, and we stopped for a while to practice snorkeling, we could see fish and sea urchins. In short, 3 hours spent flying from an unforgettable experience. I recommend it 100 percent.

Fabulous, fun and comfortable tour with excellent boat, crew and guide - We're really happy that we booked this tour and had a great few hours in the company of a small group of nice people on a quite new and comfortable boat with an excellent guide and crew. The morning started with coffee and a tasty snack at the company offices before a short walk and a shallow paddle to board the boat and head off in search of whales and other wildlife. We were really impressed with the boat crew and guide, who did all they could to ensure everyone was safe, comfortable, and supplied with water and delicious fresh local fruits as well as giving lots of interesting information about the area and what we were seeing. Unlike with some other companies this boat has cushions and soft backs for the hard seats, which was really welcome with the sometimes choppy sea. Our boat initially went off to a different area than most of the other boats meaning we had the area largely to ourselves, but as the different tour companies cooperate via phone it wasn't long before we headed towards a confirmed sighting. Over the next hour or so we were treated to a 16 metre male humpback repeatedly surfacing and diving often within just a few metres of our boat but with our crew doing their best to ensure the whale wasn't being harassed by the boat. As the morning drew to a close we then headed towards the "Whale's Tail" feature of this area for around twenty minutes of lovely warm water snorkelling with snorkels and masks provided, the boat captain making sure everyone was able to enter and leave the water safely. We were lucky that the end of the tour coincided with the low tide, and so those of us who wanted to do so were then dropped at the Whale's Tail itself where we could easily wade ashore and then spend an hour or two walking by ourselves along this beautiful rock and sandy feature (which is usually covered by the sea) back to the entrance to the national park we'd entered a few hours before. The entrance fee for the national park is included in the cost of the boat tour tickets. All in all this tour is a wonderful way to spend a morning and, if the tide is low, the afternoon on the Whale's Tail too. The tour was the highlight of our lovely few days in Uvita and we highly recommend it.

Brilliant! - We had a fantastic 1/2 day tour with Geiner. He was knowledgeable, solicitous, friendly and had a good sense of humor. We enjoyed every aspect of the tour...walk to the park, whale and dolphin sightings, snacks and snorkeling. This was an A+ experience and highly recommended.

Can't Promise that You'll see a Baby Whale Breach, but We Did - We had a fun time on this trip. Our host/guide was great; I think her name was Isa. Anyway we saw some dolphins early then it seemed like we'd be shut out for whales. Then another boat found a mom and baby so we cruised very fast to see them. It was worth it - the baby breached 8-10 times. We also saw monkeys, toucans and macaws on the walk to the ocean, so it was a good nature day.
