• Bahía Uvita - You and up to 5 guests (6 guests total) can enjoy a high-speed sportfishing adventure on the high seas. Guests will arrive at our property for check-in, and then our staff will guide them to the parking area to leave their car at the main entrance of Parque Nacional Marina Ballena. From the park entrance, there is a short hike of approximately 5 minutes to the beach, where guests will board the tour boat from the beach. The tour boat will travel about 20 to 40 miles to sea, which is the best place to catch big game. We offer a wide variety of fishing techniques like trolling, casting, slow jigging, and button fishing. The route will be determined in consultation with the captain and depends on the weather and the location of the fish.

Bahia Uvita is renowned for its outstanding deep-sea fishing, which is consistently excellent throughout the year, establishing it as one of Costa Rica’s premier fishing locations. Offshore fishing occurs 20 to 40 miles out in deep waters, where visitors can catch species like Mackerel, Snapper, Wahoo, Mahi-Mahi, Yellowfin Tuna, Black Tuna, Sailfish, and Marlin. Visitors are allowed to keep all species except Marlin and Sailfish, which must be released.
