We will pick you up from your hotel and escort you to our trailhead. Our activity begins with a two-hour hike that leads us to the Esmeralda Lagoon. Following the right bank, we’ll start our ascent to the Ojo del Albino glacier.
An hour into our journey, we find ourselves navigating high mountain terrains, which require full concentration.
We’ll take a break for a much-needed lunch and brief respite at the 7 km mark.
Our journey proceeds to the Balcones del Ojo del Albino. From there, you’ll be treated to a breathtaking view of the entire Esmeralda lagoon and its high valley.
After covering 10 km and scaling heights of 1200m, we then tackle a wall which leads us to the majestic Ojo del Albino Glacier. If weather conditions allow and our passenger is fit, an ascend and trek across the ice will be the day’s climatic adventure.
By approximately 3:00 p.m., we’ll start our descent using the same trail.
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.
