Great experience - Such a fun trip. Montana whitewater was efficient, friendly, safety first, and made sure we had fun. Elijah was the best guide our family has had over several years of rafting! Various rivers. Safety first, but he made sure each of us, including all the kids, had a ton of fun. Highly recommend!!!

A Great Ride Down the Yellowstone River - This was a great way to explore a slice of Montana down the Yellowstone River. Our guide, Jordan, was excellent - he did a lot of the paddling, so we didn't have to work too hard, and he was very informative about the scenery and wildlife we saw from the river. The sack lunch was very good - Boar's Head product. The rapids were fun enough, but I'm sure they would have been better a few weeks earlier when the river was a little higher - so if you want more excitement, go in June.

Definitely recommend this raft group - Fletch was an excellent raft captain. We had great experience They grouped us perfectly with great people. The equipment was good and dryjackets and wetsuits were available at no extra cost. They supplied boots too for those who needed to borrow them

Fun trip! - Wonderful experience! Whitewater rafting is always one of my favorite vacation activities and this one did not disappoint. Our guide Elijah was knowledgeable and entertaining. The rapids were fun and the calmer spots we got to observe the beauty around us and learn about the area. Highly recommend the experience!

Full-Day Rafting was AWESOME! - This was my first rafting trip and was a little apprehensive to do a full-day trip with some level 3 and 4 rapids. But, the experience was AWESOME! Everyone at Montana Whitewater was very courteous and professional. The email and phone communications were great (make sure to read the details of your booking! We are so glad we did and brought dry clothes and a towel. It would have been a miserable ride home in cold, wet clothes). When we arrived, we were ushered to the areas to get our wetsuit, water shoes and finally the splash jackets. These essential things saved the day with the 48 degree water temps! Once on the river, we were so fortunate to have the best river guide, David. He talked us through all the safety protocols before we placed the raft in the water. As we proceeded down the river, he was very informative about what to expect at every turn. He told us exactly what he was going to do and how it was going to effect the raft. He guided us flawlessly through some tough spots, even making sure both sides of the raft were equally soaked when we were done. This may have been my first rafting trip, but it surely won't be my last. Montana Whitewater and David our river guide, have set the standard for which all rafting trios will be measure going forward!

Amazing rafting trip book it ! - Had a great experience with Montana Whitewater. We completed the full day rafting trip (me, my husband ,and our 15 year old son). Our guide, Aiden was amazing. I had completed a rafting trip years prior and had a really bad experience. That was definitely not the case with this rafting company, and our guide made it extremely fun. We would do it again without hesitation. We completed the rafting with several other boats and all the guides made the effort to keep us engaged, safe, and ensured we had a great time!

Amazing views, but limited rapids over the full 6 hours - We did the 6 hours and this included a number of relaxing drifts through the river. The rapids are good, but not that long and so not quite the thrill ride. However, this is still a trip worth doing to see Yellowstone from a different view. Loved it

Great experience, but the half-day trip is enough. - We took the full day rafting tour of the Yellowstone River. The guide was knowledgeable and friendly. I didn't give it 5 stars, however, because there weren't many good rapids after the half-day trip pull-out location. So I think a half-day trip with this company would be well worth the money and definitely a great experience. The second half of the full day trip was mostly flat water, which is lovely and relaxing, but not usually what you're looking for in a white-water trip. We had fun and I'd recommend this company, but I'd only recommend the half-day trip. That's where all the good rapids are.
