Must do of NOLA museums! - This was an excellent museum. It is interactive which was so much fun. It made the history so much easier to appreciate. I would recommend this museum as a must if you are limited on time. I go to museums everywhere and especially when we travel. This has been one of my favorites. And my partner said this was his favorite museum of history that he has ever been too.

Absolutely fascinating. Don't miss it. - Fascinating museum. A foundational part of the building and evolution of New Orleans. Beginning in the 1700s. I especially loved the part about how jazz was born in Storyville. Don't miss it.

Interesting history of the area - Presentation was great. Easy to read boards. Only wish they sold shot glasses. Liked the red lights in the museum. Very cool.

A tour through New Orleans history - Wonderful museum telling the full story of the birth of New Orleans and the history of the city. Much of the exhibits centered around the red light district that came to be known as Storyville after the city councilman, Sidney Story, who wrote legislation to section off and regulate prostitution within a certain district in the French Quarter.

Impressive Immersive Historical Experience - An absolutely beautiful exhibit! Respectful to the working ladies of the New Orleans’ Red Light District- 10/10 My mother and I went on our girls trip. It was immersive, informative, and not at all graphic as one may think. I felt empowered as a woman and could really understand the history of the music, nightlife, structures, and ladies of Stroyville.

Interesting Take on Importing Women - The museum was easy to navigate…it requires reading…a few interactive places. There was so much information and history. Great way to spend a couple of hours if you find yourself in the neighborhood! Very well presented.
