Unintended personal tour - Husband and I were only participants on a afternoon scheduled tour. Appreciate the company going ahead with our tour rather than cancelling! Knowledgeable guide, we mainly stayed in the vehicle rather than exiting at various points. Be aware that your does not take you into any ruin such as Cliff Palace. But it's a good introduction to what is where, especially for first time visitors.

Best tour of this trip - I hesitated at signing up for this because I'm old and have bad knees, but decided that I would be able to suck it up for this. So glad I did (although my knees my argue). AMAZING tour, sights and history. I'm not saying it wasn't strenuous, but it was worth it (and my knees DID forgive me.)

Worth the money! - We booked a 1pm tour in late August. We were so fortunate to have only 5 people on this tour as the earlier morning tour was quite packed. We had a small air-conditioned bus with a cooler of iced water. Jonathan "the mustache" was our guide. He was very good. His knowledge about every aspect from plant life to the history and native culture was impressive. We made lots of stops at various Kivas and dwelling sites and of course the amazing Cliff Palace where we had to climb some slightly precarious paths and ladders to reach. Not bad but just a heads up. (You don't have to climb if you're unable or nervous about it .The tour will still be very interesting as you get views of Cliff Palace from various stops for photo ops. Also skirts and dresses may not be the best idea). You think 4 hrs is a long tour but it went by so fast with all the sites and interesting information. Louis our bus driver gets a shout out also. P.S. Please tip well as they work hard to make your trip a great one.

Awesome tour for half a day with kids - Very informative and the views were amazing. Our tour guide was very nice and informative and the Ranger who took us down to the ruins was awesome! We learned so much from him. We took our daughters aged 9 and 5 and they had a great time as well. The length of the tour was the perfect amount of time.

Great Tour - My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the 700 Year tour. Jonathan, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. Not only did we learn about the history of the cultures who inhabited the park, but received an abundance of information on the construction of the physical structures and many uses of the local trees and plants. Having a park ranger guided tour of the Cliff Palace was wonderful. We would highly recommend this tour.
