Fun but wouldn’t do it again - We had family from out of state that was extremely excited to go on this tour. I first had an issue with where to meet as my walking GPS was taking me all over Old Sacramento. I called the phone number and was promptly given a contact number with additional detailed meeting information. I do have to say I was a little disappointed with the tour as I thought we would be entering the establishments and looking around, not just staying outside to hear the stories. Our tour guide Ethan was extremely knowledgeable of the Sacramento history and did keep us engaged with the stories.

Ghosted by the Ghost Tour - Well, that’s it. No one showed up. I texted a couple of times, got no response. We thought maybe we were in the wrong place- the meetup instructions were sort of vague. Finally we gave up and left. The next morning I got a response of “sorry for the inconvenience want to reschedule for today?” Laughable. Absolutely I do not want to re-schedule. I’m sure I don’t need to go too deep into what an enormous disappointment this whole thing was. As working parents of teenagers, going out on a Saturday night is a big deal, and we were really excited about this tour. Parking in old town Sac in a Saturday is an expensive nightmare, which is to be expected but makes being stood up that much more frustrating.
