• Santuario Historico de Machu Picchu - - 5:00 AM The operator will pick you up from your hotel 30 minutes before the scheduled departure from Cusco. You will be taken to the train station in Ollantaytambo (a 1 hour and 30-minute drive) to board the train heading to “Aguas Calientes” (2000 m.a.s.l), a journey that lasts 2 hours.

• Upon arrival at the train station, the tour guide will be waiting with a sign displaying your names. Together, you will proceed to the bus station to ascend 400 meters in height along a zigzag path for 30 minutes, reaching the magnificent “Machu Picchu Sanctuary,” also known as “The Lost City of the Incas.”

• At the Machu Picchu citadel, you will pass through the control point where you must present your entrance ticket. From there, the guided tour will commence, visiting the city’s main sites such as the Main Square, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Solar Clock, the Royal Quarters, the Temple of the Three Windows, and the cemeteries. The tour will last over two hours.

• After the tour, you will have free time to explore the citadel and visit Machu Picchu independently. You will then return to Aguas Calientes to enjoy a meal at one of the many restaurants (lunch is not included in the package).

• In the afternoon, you will take the train back to Cusco (please arrive at the train station 30 minutes before your train’s departure). The return journey follows the same route as the outward trip. Upon arrival at the Ollantaytambo train station, the operator will be waiting to take you back to your hotel in Cusco (a 1 hour and 30-minute drive).
