  • La Casa mas Angosta - We will visit the winning house of the Guinness record to the narrowest in the world
  • Museo Indigena La Huatapera - We will get to know the oldest building and we will talk about the life and work of the founder of the city, Fray Juan de San Miguel.
  • Casa de la Cultura - Its construction began in 1534, a year after the foundation of Uruapan and was completed in 1536, at that time it housed the Franciscan Convent. Over time it has undergone notable changes, in the year 1767 it was the last year that it represented the Franciscan Convent or Casa Conventual de la Orden Franciscana and it began to function as Casa Cural until the year 1923. Between the years 1880 and 1895 it was remodeled and expanded from one to two floors, just as it is today. In the years 1914 and 1920 it was abandoned and at risk of being destroyed due to the problems caused by the Mexican Revolution. Starting in 1924, the Ignacio Manuel Altamirano Elementary School was established until 1954, and in 1955 they occupied the building as government offices. It was from October 21, 1992 that it began its function as the House of Culture.
  • Centro - In the central square of the city, we will talk about its most emblematic characters and some transcendental events in the city

Great day with Renato, our guide. - We took 2 tours with Renato on the same day and we were lucky enough to be his only guests - meaning that we were able to ask many more questions than if we had been with a group. We loved touring the market, the visit with Martina, meeting with Martina, a very talented and nationally recognized Macque artist, visiting the herbalist and sampling various herbal teas, visiting the tiniest house in the world, seeing a local tortilla maker run his machine, and hearing about the history of many of the buildings in the historic center of Uruapan.
