Spectacular Everything Adventure in The Rainforest - This is an excellent choice of adventure. First horse backing on trails to a wonderful waterfall through the jungle (where you can swim if you’d like). Then directly on to an amazing white water tubing opportunity fit for all types and ages of people in which you will get wet, but almost certainly won’t flip with the help of the guides who stand right beside all the biggest rapids to keep you safe (We even saw a white faced monkey. Then to a wild ziplining course which goes through a spectacular canyon. The lunch was authentic and delicious, and there was live traditional music throughout lunch. Then last but not least we went to the hot springs and mudding experience which was great. They have tons of pools of different temperatures, a river which was a lovely temperature, you are among the forest and you even get a mud scrub to exfoliate! Would highly, highly recommend if you have the energy for all this in one day!

Worth the price! - My husband and I had an amazing experience on this adventure tour and felt it was absolutely worth the price. Every staff member we met was friendly and made sure we knew exactly what to expect on each excursion. The included lunch buffet was delicious and we loved the relaxed outdoor setting. A special shoutout to Photo Adventura (Christian) and the rest of the team who captured our adventure so perfectly. We purchased the full photo package at a great price, which included action shots and videos from the excursions. It was such a fun and great way to remember the day. Thank you again to Hotel Hacienda Guachipelín, Adventure Tours, and Photo Adventura for an unforgettable experience!

- These activities can be so intimidating and dangerous but this company goes the extra mile to make it the most fun and enjoyable experience! Horseback riding was so fun and we stopped at a beautiful waterfall! Zip lining was such a thrill with the most amazing views!! Tubing is where this company went above and beyond. I dropped my brand new insta360 camera and stick in the river in the rainforest and thought all hope was lost but one of their amazing guides dove down twice and brought it up to me!!!!! Just incredible and lunch was delicious too!!!! I would do these tours again anytime I’m in Costa Rica!!! Oh they also took amazing pictures and videos of our tours which was such a nice touch.

Do glad we did it! - Amazing and unforgettable, a quintessential Costa Rican experience. The staff are all true professionals in their craft and super friendly. From checkin to horseback riding to white water tubing to zip lining to lunch buffet to hot springs. The place is amazing but the staff make the experience safe and enjoyable, a well orchestrated adventure. Well done team!

Guachipelin did not dissapoint!!! - This was the one tour our entire family was looking forward to. It was delivered in one unforgettable day with ziplining, river tubing, horseback riding, mud baths, and hot springs! We were picked up from the JW Marriott in Playa Avellanas, and the transportation was smooth and easy. The 2.5-hour ride included a bathroom and snack stop and a few pickups. Once we arrived at the adventure park, check-in and waivers were a breeze — the team had everything organized and ready to go. The first one was ziplining, and wow, talk about efficiency! It felt like a well-oiled machine. Despite the number of people, the staff kept everything moving with safety and fun in mind. We flew through nine exhilarating zip lines, and the guides were incredible, ensuring everyone was comfortable and secure. Next was the river tubing, which was just as fun — if not more! It’s a Class II river, so it's not too intense but just enough action to keep everyone engaged. A few of us got scratched or stuck briefly, but the staff was attentive and helped everyone navigate the rapids safely. The scenery along the river was beautiful, and the laughter was nonstop. Then came horseback riding, which not everyone in our group did, but those who did loved it. The horses were well-trained, and the ride was relaxing with scenic views. Our final activity took us across hanging bridges before arriving at the hot springs, where we got to enjoy a mud bath and a soak in the natural thermal waters — a perfect, peaceful way to unwind after a day full of action. We wrapped up the day with a solid lunch included in the tour. It wasn’t fancy, but it tasted good and was satisfying after so much activity. The only downside to an otherwise fantastic experience: we paid $180 for the photo package but unfortunately received the wrong photos. We’re still waiting to receive the correct ones; if that isn’t resolved, we’ll request a refund. If they correct this, we’ll happily keep our 5-star rating — but if not, it’s a ding on an otherwise excellent tour. All in all, this was an incredible all-day adventure we’ll never forget. Highly recommend it for families looking for variety, excitement, and natural beauty in one place!

Unforgettable Adventure with Amazing Views and Hospitality! - The place and the people are great. The activities were well organized and super fun. The ziplines were wonderful—exciting, safe, and offered amazing views inside the canyon. The lunch was amazing. 1000% recommended! One more thing—they have local coffee available for free.

Good but not Great - I've been on the Adventure Tour a few times in the past and it's gone downhill. The activities were rushed to accomodate large tours. Horseback riding used to stop at the waterfall but there was no time. No breaks between activities to catch your breath. The lunch has been moved from the hotel restaurant to a venue several hundreds yards from the center and the food was average/below average with limited offerings. Overall it was good (the activities are very good) but not great.

Not what we were expecting. - Okay, we did end up having a good time but their marketing is all highly misleading. We did the half day adventure package with zip lining, rappel, rock climbing, lunch, hot springs. We got there, everything went well, staff was nice and helpful and got us started zip lining. 40 minutes later, literally exactly 40 minutes later and you are done! 4 1/2 hour half day event???? The zip lining was great, one of the better ones I've done but the rappel and rock climbing? It's ONE rappel for 3 seconds, then one 15' wall you climb back up and then that's it! Not another one on the trip! Then they all walked away........all the staff just went on to do other tours. We asked around where the lunch was and a lady said "down that road". You walk about 10 minutes and there is a big outdoor food area. It was a nice meal but there is 30 more minutes of our "adventure tour" We then walked around wondering what the hell do we do now??? We asked somebody where the hot springs were and they said "up that road". We walked for 20 minutes and saw nothing. We then got back to our car and drove around looking for these hot springs. They are 6km away, maybe a 20 minute drive! What the......?????. We finally found the hot springs and they were awesome, probably the highlight of the trip because you could just stay there and relax but no direction at all, especially not a "tour" In all I would never do it again, you got 40 minutes of "adventure" and then an hour of wondering around, and then an hour of sitting in 100 deg water when it's 90 deg outside ;)
