A Morning with Monkeys

The day began with a sense of excitement as I was picked up from my resort by our guide, affectionately nicknamed “Brad Pitt,” and our driver, Mr. Roberto. The sun was just beginning to rise, casting a golden glow over the lush landscape of Puerto Plata. Our first destination was Monkey Land, a sanctuary nestled in the heart of the tropical jungle.

Our guides, Lynn, Christian, and Ray, introduced us to the playful squirrel monkeys. These little creatures were a delight, darting around with an energy that mirrored the ocean’s waves. Thrills on the Buggies

After our time with the monkeys, we headed to the buggie ride, just a short drive away. The team there was fantastic, ensuring we were safe and ready for the adventure ahead.
