The BEST Speyside Whisky Tour (Perfect Experience) - If you're looking for a private car service in the Highlands for a tour of Speyside, there is no one better to book for your tour than Scenic Routes. If I could give David (owner and driver of Scenic Routes) 10 stars on Tripadvisor I would. He went above and beyond all our expectations. From start to finish, it was a first class experience. Communication From my immediate inquiry email, David was kind, prompt, and professional. My partner and I were traveling to Scotland for our honeymoon and we wanted to visit the Speyside Whisky Trail. When first planning our trip, I originally had a hard time finding a tour company for our day at Speyside. Many other tour companies quoted us extremely high prices that seemed unattainable and often would only let you do a pre-planned itinerary. I was beginning to think our hope of visiting Speyside for a day for our honeymoon was not going to happen. Until we found Scenic Routes!! David quoted us a very reasonable and fair price for a 1 day tour of Speyside (about 10 hours of driving) and he allowed my partner and me to plan our own whisky tasting itinerary, which we were very excited to do. David/Scenic Routes really saved the day and helped make our hope of visiting Speyside a dream come true. The Experience The whole experience exceeded all our hopes and expectations. We were staying in Inverness and planned to visit 4 whisky distilleries in Speyside (with lunch in between). David was incredibly punctual and arrived at our hotel on time at 7:45am to drive to Speyside for our first whisky tour at 9:30am. For Scenic Routes, David drove us to Speyside in a beautifully maintained Mercedes. It was very impressive. He also provided bottles of water and some shortbread for snacks, which was very thoughtful. For our tour, we visited Glenfiddich, Cardhu, Speyburn, and GlenAllachie distilleries. David did an amazing job of getting us to each one smoothly and on time. He is very knowledgable about the area and an excellent driver. Most importantly, he is very kind and sincere. He was great company on the long drives and a delight to chat with throughout the day. My partner and I were having so much fun that the day just flew by. Everything was flawless. Truly the perfect day and perfect experience. Overall We would highly, highly recommend David and Scenic Routes to anyone visiting the Highlands and looking for a professional and outstanding luxury tour. He is honestly the best and we would happily hire Scenic Routes again if we're ever in Scotland. It was a joy to work with Scenic Routes and a fabulous memory from our honeymoon that my partner and I will always cherish and remember dearly.

Awesome Tour Day with David - We had booked with David on Oct 13th and had a wonderful day! We did a tour at Glen Moray and visited/did tastings at Benromach, Cardhu, Ballindalloch, GlenAllachie, and Glenlivet. David was really helpful in recommending smaller distilleries to check out and had a lot of knowledge to share. We had pre-arranged Glen Moray and wanted to visit Glenlivet but we were otherwise flexible. David even took us to see some highland cattle near Cardhu and had carrots to feed them! I would definitely recommend booking with David to friends or family or any couples or small groups wanting a unique experience, it was totally worth it and a highlight of our trip! Thanks David!

Perfect day with an excellent driver! - David is the best. We we’re lucky he had an open spot. Was waiting for us promptly at our hotel to start the day at 9. Immaculate car and he is a truly nice person with vast knowledge on many subjects. Communication beforehand was easy and very responsive. He arranged for a tour at a small local distillery, Speyburn and it was the perfect introduction to whiskey for both of us. We were able to go to two more on our list, Glen Livet and Glen Fiddich and stopped for lunch at a great little spot for some soup and sandwiches. Daryl and I had the perfect day and you would be lucky to get a booking with him.
