Great day. - Emma was a great guide. We had a private tour with 6 in our group. She planned oyr day to what we wanted to see. She even had a wee dram of whiskey for us. The weather was rainy but we were still able to see the dolphins. Highly recommend doing the private tours as you aren’t stuffed on a bus with 50 other people.

A Beautiful Day trip with Alistair of Go Highlands - Alistair was a wonderful guide. He brought fresh perspective to the places we went. He was especially outstanding at Culloden where his military experience really came to the fore. The restaurant he chose for us was great. We recommend him highly.

We’ve done several private tours around Europe over the years & this beat them all! We had a large group of 8 (with ages ranging from 19-78) all strong headed women with 1 male. George was the perfect guide to handle our crazy group. Lots of character & stories of his childhood growing up there. We hit so many sites & learned so much history & stories of their culture. We laughed so hard & saw so much. George knew everyone & by the time we left we felt like family. It was hands down the best money we spent! All of us agreed that it was our favorite tour & would love to go back & do it again. We are all sad to leave this sweet country that we have felt so welcomed in. He gave us a lot of history, showed us specific areas that were of interest to us, catered the day to our wishes, and we had wonderful conversation with him all day. He made us feel like we were old friends. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND GO HIGHLANDS and will book them the next time I am in Scotland.

So much fun! - George was one of our favorite tour guides during our trip to Scotland. He is knowledgeable and passionate about his country. He even had a few people tagging along with our group to try to listen as he spoke during some of our stops. He arrived in a kilt and he was able to be flexible when we asked for a few small changes to the itinery. He felt like family by the time our tour ended.

Great tour excursion from cruise port - We had a great time on our tour around the Highlands with Sarah as our guide. She was waiting for us as we got off the cruise ship in Invergordan. She asked us what our “must see” places were, to make sure they weren’t missed. We had a lovely day exploring. Got all our stops in that were listed on the itinerary , had a wonderful lunch along the way and even had time to make a quick stop at a special spot of hers, for a family photo with the highlands, on our the way back. I loved that she took a different route back to the cruise terminal so that we could see more of the area. I would highly recommend this tour operator (we also got to see one of the other guides at many stops, as they were either right before or after us, on the same journey) Both guides were wonderful.

Awful not as advertized - Just returned from this tour. Our experience was not a good one. Unless you get George or Alastair as a guide, do NOT book through GoHolidays. The tour guide was obnoxious, not very knowledgeable and culture biased. He expressed that a majority of Americans are all obese (we are not) Asians are rude and pushy,Italians are crazy, etc. He did not take us to the sights that the company advertised. Told us he was uncircumcised and so much more. We did not confront him as we did not want to get dropped off on the side of the road. His name is Kay. In all fairness I asked for a partial refund which I did receive. After reading more reviews when I returned this company has refunded numerous people for their tours. Keep that in mind before booking
