No better tour or way around the Highlands! - Truly the only way to see the Highlands!! Lawrence is a true gem and quickly felt like part of our family! He was thoughtful in his preparation for our trip by providing snacks and water. He was helpful at every pass with luggage and opening doors. He was considerate of our time, allowing us to dictate the schedule and see what we wanted. The love for his country and history really showed. We appreciated the tour and highly recommend it!!

The perfect day in Scotland! - Laurence was incredible, he was so knowledgeable and knew exactly what to show us. It was a big day (because it was the middle of winter and the sun was setting early), but we never felt rushed at all AND we got to see absolutely everything we wanted to! Laurence was amazing at making sure we were stopping when we wanted to, and staying as long as we liked at each place. Snacks and water were provided plus the opportunity to stop for a proper lunch at an inn. (Which we didn’t take because we were set on seeing as much as possible.) The van was very luxurious and clean, with lots of space to get comfy! It was the perfect day, 10/10 recommend Laurence and this tour!

An Absolute Must Do - I CANNOT recommend this tour (and Lawerence) enough! We have been on our fair share of guided tours on our travels to Europe and this easily makes the top two tours. Lawrence was fantastic: knowledgeable, patient, friendly, professional...the list goes on and on. He allowed us to customize our experience so we got to see everything that was important to us: the Fairy Pools, Fairy Glen, Kilts Rock, and the Old Man of Storr. And to top it all off: Lawrence brought snacks for everyone! This tour will go down as one of my absolute favorite travel memories. Do yourself a favor: book this tour with Lawrence and be prepared to have an outstanding time. We will absolutely book with him the next time we are in Scotland. The best day of the trip! - Our private tour was Incredible! Lawrence made sure we knew the tour was ours to customize if needed along the way to be sure we got to see all the things we were hoping for. He let us set the pace and got us around lickety split. The fairy pools and feeding of the cows was my favorite but eating at the old Inn for some perfectly hot soup warmed us right up to continue our travels. We laughed the whole way and enjoyed every single second of our time spent on the Isle of Skye. Fairy pools, fairy glen, fairy Bridge etc. All fantastic. We got to see the old man of storr, Kilt rock, castles, portree, fairy pools, fairy glen, Saucy Mary, waterfalls, highland cows, and more! Lawrence himself also deserves 5 stars. He was kind, caring, funny and knowledgeable. He felt like an old friend that did the tour with us. Hands down the best part of our overall trip.

A MUST DO TOUR... - Do yourself a favor and book this tour or any tour with Highlander Private Tours. The Skye Fairy Tour was one of the best tours that me and my husband have ever been on. Our tour guide, Lawrence, did an AMAZING job showing us the best that Isle of Skye has to offer, and along the way provided many great stories and facts. Lawrence made sure that we saw everything we wanted and more. On the tour, we stopped at the Fairy Pools, Fairy Glenn, Old Man of Storr, and Kilt Rock. Best of all, we got to see and feed the Highland Cows. I will be booking any future tours with Lawrence and Highlander Private tours when I return to Scotland.

Skye Fairy Tour - Lawrence provided a great van tour for my 3 friends and I! We went to the Isle of Skye and got to see so much! I loved the Fairy pools, Fairy glen, and Kilts Rock. We were able to stop and visit numerous places and take our time at each. Lawrence was so knowledgeable and accommodating! He provided water, sweet biscuits, and crisps for us, and carrots for the highland cows! The weather was rainy in parts and he offered umbrellas at every turn. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Scotland!

Fabulous Fairy Experiences! - Lawrence was an incredible tour guide as he shared fascinating folklore while driving over the Quiraing, to the Fairy sites and much more! We greatly appreciated his storytelling, infectious laughter, very comfortable Mercedes van (fits 6-7 people nicely), delicious snacks, and of course his safe driving skills. It was a day full of learning about Scottish history and culture while admiring breathtaking scenery and enjoying Lawrence’s personality and expertise. We are definitely scheduling more Highlander Private Tours!
