- Forks, Focail and Folklore eBike Tour - Our eBike storytelling tour starts in picturesque fishing village of Union Hall. We being with a relatively flat spin towards the village of Leap.
Just below Leap, we enter the poetically named woodland know as Bláth na Gréine, and pass historic Myross Wood House.
We then gently pedal from undulating bóithrín (tiny road) to undulating bóithrín as we share unique local focial (Irish words still used in English). Along the way, we take loads of brief stops for magical short stories from the rich collection of local folklore.
After visiting tiny beaches with amazing views, we then return to our starting point.

Additional Information
- Union Hall is a picturesque fishing village in West Cork not a hall in Cork city.
- You will need to be at c. 150 cm tall (4 ft 11’) to ride our smallest bikes, however leg lengths etc. can vary so this is only an estimate.

Magic bike ride. - This tour is highly recommended. Our Guide, Conor, who also rents out the bikes, is a magical narrator on a trip that takes in beautiful places.

Fairies, folklore and fun! - Union Hall and its surrounding are beautiful for sure, but Conor’s storytelling add a historical and human dimension that will root it in our memories forever.

Time travelling by ebike - Conor is a natural storyteller who has an intimate knowledge of local folklore and history. He brings the ancient landscape to life and peoples it with characters from his own family and the warring tribes who used to live here. Magic, fairies and leprechauns were real to these people and make for some enchanting stories. Get on one of his comfortable ebikes and be carried back in time. It’s fantastic!

Fantastic evening ride - Wonderful time with Conor! He was a great host getting all our family safely onto the bikes, and regaling us with wonderful tales as we cycled through the beautiful local countryside. Highly recommended

Brilliant! - We (family of 4) had a 3 hour bike tour starting at Union Hall. Conor took the tour and was a brilliant tour guide! Included in the price was fantastic ebikes (they were great fun and made the cycling effortless even up the steepest hills), and regular stops for stories from Conor! It was great to see the local countryside. One tip if you are booking this trip, bring some snacks with you. We were very hungry afterwards. As it starts at 4 it doesn’t end until 7ish. Thank you so much for a great trip Conor and Celine.

A seanchaí lead tour that was simply outstanding! - If you like stunning coastal vistas, riding on high quality eBikes and storytelling of the highest standard, then this is your tour.
Conor is part of a dying breed of traditional Irish storytellers and he would be know in Ireland as a seanchaí.
He's funny, warm and welcoming but his real skill is, he can weave a tale from local folklore that makes a nondescript rock sticking into the harbour transform into something that will stir deep emotions within us all. Outstanding!

A must do when visiting West Cork! - The Gormu e-bike tour is a must when visiting West Cork. Thanks to Conor for a wonderful experience exploring Union Hall and Leap, lots of incredible views, fantastic folk tales and lots of fun. It was great to see places that we hadn’t seen before and hear stories about the people and places.

A true Irish experince. - Connor, the tour owner, was on the verge of being incredible! Best storyteller EVAH!!! He made Ireland and its history come alive and his bikes were wonderful to ride. Highly recommend this tour if you want to have an authentic Irish experience.
