Excellent tour! - Excellent tour! There was a great variety of excursions from dolphins to the Rock restaurant. I had an excellent guide Ibrahim. He made sure I was comfortable and safe through the whole tour! Ibrahim was very knowledgeable and very proud of his Tanzanian culture!

The birthday celebration that I will never forget! - What a day! Khamis was my tour guide and Jijr was the driver! From being picked up at my hotel, Khamis and Jijr made sure that my birthday celebration did not disappoint! The tour began with us going to see the dolphins. While going to "look for" dolphins, it began to rain, very heavily. We were able to see the dolphins, but this was my least favorite part of the tour. It seemed like too many boats were chasing the dolphins and I was glad when this part of the tour was over. Thankfully, I mentioned it to Khamis and he instructed our captain to take us back to shore. I appreciated that! We next went to see the monkeys in the forest. I enjoyed walking in nature and taking the sights in. It was a peaceful, and educational tour and I really was happy to have had the experience. Lunch at The Rock restaurant was nice! The staff were so friendly and helpful and they sang happy birthday to me, which made me feel really special. The birthday cake was delicious! The cave tour - wonderful!! There was only one other person in the cave when I arrived, and I was very happy for that. I was able to take my time and enjoy the cave. This may have been my second favorite thing about the tour. My absolute favorite thing about the tour, however, was spending the day with Khamis and Jijr! We laughed, listened to music, danced, and shared our country's histories with each other. We met as strangers but left as family!

Great experience, great guides! - Great all day tour! I would recommend for solo travellers and couples ( even families) Both the guys were so nice . simba was very helpful The driver was amazing. Very informative, lots of great things to see.

Safe and fun tour for solo travellers - Both Simba and Ibrahim were wonderful as my driver and tour guide - I couldn’t thank them enough! As it’s a private tour, they accommodate to you specifically and make sure you’re not tired or too hot! They always have fresh water bottles on hand and have your best interest. Simba is king of the road with his careful driving and I felt very safe in his car. Ibrahim was also incredibly patient and came with me on tour if I felt uncomfortable by myself or if I just wanted company - and he was always happy to do so! Thank you Mango Travels for making my solo trip a safe and fun experience! P.S. Simba has a greatly music playlist in his car!

Great variety of places to visit - From start to finish, an excellent tour with variety of places and things to see and do. As a solo traveller, Abas, my guide was professional, attentive, knowledgeable and calibrated to my pace, needs and preferences. Phamais, a friendly, experienced and skillful driver. We started punctually and I enjoyed from start to finish. My best bits were spending time at the beautiful sandbank and seeing the monkeys up close and personal. I would recommend this tour as a great way to see a lot in one day.

Amazing - Abbas and Simba made the tour excellent. Overall this whole day tour is amazing and it takes you to various places covering the island well. The ride was smooth and i really enjoyed myself!

Great day out in Zanzibar! - Great day out, private tour with a private guide. We were rushed for the rock resteraunt, but our guide got us in without any issues, saw many things within the day. Fantastic day out, would highly recommend!

Picturesque Zanzibar - Did not see any dolphins in the nature reserve but the experience was great, saw the culobus monkey in Jozani Park, did not have enough time to see Kuza Cave, our trip to Paje Beach and the Rock Restaurant was rushed. We did not have time for lunch. Tour operator should have managed the time better. Stayed too long in the nature reserve and had little time for the Rock which was the most beautiful and scenic area.

Great experience but expensive - We were only spending a few days in Zanzibar so we decided to do this excursion after reading the positive feedback. The chofer picked us up at 8:00 and we went straight to catch a boat and see the dolphins. Unfortunately, the sea was rough so we couldn’t see any, we did some snorkeling instead. After that we went to Jozani forrest, saw the different types of monkeys. The monkeys were great, we spent 30 minutes there only but we didn’t feel we needed to spend more time. Since we had made a booking at the Rock Restaurant at 2:00pm, we had time to go to Kuza Cave before lunch. We enjoyed it! Very few people and the cave was very nice to swim in. We had lunch at the Rock which was good, you have to know you pay for the views but the food was also good. At about 3:00pm we went to our last stop, Paje beach, and stayed there for 45 minutes. It’s a normal beach and wasn’t bad, but something you can skip if you don’t have time or don’t feel like going. There were also quite a lot of people trying to sell you stuff. We then went to our hotel at Nungwi and arrive at 5:45pm. They day in general was good, it was a pity we didn’t see the dolphins but the rest of the activities were great (except for Paje which was OK). We felt the guide could have explained us a bit more about the cave or Jozani forrest, but he was ok. Also, we thought it’s expensive taking into account it does not include lunch (remember to book the Rock restaurant previously). But we enjoyed the day and recommend the experience.

Waist of time and money - This was a waist of time and money, we’ve spent more time driving around the island than actually enjoying the places. We ordered this tour in Russian but the guide only knew 5 words. He also did not explain anything about the places we’ve visited. It was more like here we go, be back in 15 min. So definitely would not recommend this particular tour.
