This experience takes just about 3 hours of your day….
- Sun Diving Sri Lanka (PADI Dive Resort S-25804) - Many people are curious about “Discover SCUBA Diving”… this is your opportunity to learn the fundamental skills and techniques for diving, breathing, and communicating underwater while exploring the stunning marine life at Unawatuna Beach. This experience takes just about 3 hours of your day.
Begin by enjoying a warm cup of tea as you complete your Health Questionnaire. Then, together, the best equipment sizes will be selected for you. With this diving gear, the dive briefing will commence, covering all necessary information about SCUBA equipment, diving techniques, underwater communication with dive partners, and details about the dive site. Your initial experience with the diving gear will take place in a shallow lagoon at approximately 1m depth, where you will learn and practice all essential techniques. Once you feel completely at ease, the main dive will begin at the stunning dive site “Rock Island,” just a 10-minute boat ride away. The Rock Island dive offers the chance to explore the fascinating reef and observe a wide variety of marine species. The depth ranges from 2m to 10m, and at the deepest point, part of a shipwreck can be seen.
