Great Dive Centre - Excellent Dive Centre, great staff, professional but friendly and fun too, very relaxed. Experienced diver so wanted to go to decent sites and not disappointed, really good, especially the Rangoon and SS Orestes Wrecks. 4 dives going out a day and just choose when to join 👍 Didn’t rent equipment but all looked good quality and well looked after. Thoroughly recommend 👍😎

Family dive holiday - We have just finished a great two days diving with sun diving. Wishva led our diving for the three certified divers and could not have been better. So helpful and great sense of humour and fun. The diving was excellent number of different sites and lots to see. Our other son did his open water padi and successfully qualified. A really great dove centre could not recommend any higher. Thanks

Friendly staff and Best Dive Resort - I’m Samith Fernando, a PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer with over 30 years of experience and more than 20000 dives. I am the owner of Kalpitiya Diving Center and Scuba Diving Sri Lanka, both PADI 5-Star Dive Centers. Our second diving location on the southern coast is in Unawatuna. We recently visited Sun Diving PADI 5-Star Dive Resort in Unawatuna, and I must say that the welcome we received from Dilshan, the owner of the Unawatuna Diving Center, was incredibly warm. My family had a wonderful experience, and we did two dives with this center. My children really enjoyed their time. Our dive guide, Mr. Tharu, was excellent—an experienced dive master who is very knowledgeable about all the local dive sites. The dive center has a great team of instructors and dive masters, all of whom are highly experienced. The equipment was in top condition, and there is a nearby restaurant that serves delicious food, which made our experience even more enjoyable. A heartfelt thank you to Dilshan for his hospitality. Amazing Diving trip at Sri Lanka - We are Group of 15 certified divers based Qatar with around 5 nationalities went to explore diving in Sri Lanka and our amazing Dive center was Sun diving SriLanka and the produce to us a five stars services and helping and Gide in briefing and in boat and in the surface and under water we did 10 dive with a perfect teem from their dive center, all of them was perfect I have a special thanks for the perfect dive master Asia Kula for take care for all diver

Great First Dive After Certification - Everything about this organisation was slick and helpful from the first online communication to the actual dive. As a newly certified diver, this was my first fun dive. They helped me check my equipment and then we were off in the boat to travel a short distance to the dive site. It was just me and my dive master in the water as my wife chose to snorkel around the anchored boat instead. The wind was whipping up the surf so visibility wasn't the best (about 8m I guessed) but sufficient to see the plethora of brightly coloured fish, the wreck, the amazing lines of seabed pots and the spooky statue which seems to creep up on you. Got to see a stingray and a lion fish. Back on shore, the tea was refreshing after the exhilaration of diving in a mild swell. Everything about Sun Diving was professional and the location is beautiful.

Group of 15 divers, excellent fun dives over 3 days - We were a group of 15 divers travelled together for 10 fun dives over 3 days. The dive instructors, dive masters and the whole team were fantastic. I felt safe with this dive centre. All the dives were boat dives and we returned back to the centre after each dive. The team took all our equipment to the boat for us, assisted us on board, helped us to put on our equipment and helped to get in and out of the sea. After each dive they took our kit back to the dive centre and changed the tanks over whilst we sat and drank tea! An excellent experience thankyou !

Wonderful diving experiences! - We had refresher dives since it had been a while since we last dived – the instructors were helpful and skilled. After that, we did four dives, only renting equipment. It was the most affordable diving I’ve ever experienced ($25–45 per dive). The equipment was good, and they took care of all the rigging and transport for us while serving tea on the beach. The staff were friendly and service-oriented. The dive sites and marine life were impressive. (Unfortunately, the coral life is somewhat limited due to the tsunami, but this applies to the entire coast.)
