Dinner in the vineyard - Our group tour went here for dinner and wine tasting. Such a great experience and eating outside in the vineyard was a special treat. Food was amazing as was the wine.

Outstanding Evening! - Magical! We had a private dinner in the vineyard, and it was excelllent from start to finish. We were greeted at the gate by Julia, who gave us a brief introduction to the property. Antonio was our host for the evening. A winemaker who shared his passion for wine as he introduced each wine and explained the nuances of his profession. The wines, as well as the meal, were outstanding. Wine, food, service, atmosphere - all excellent. Antonio went above and beyond, and drove us to the train station for our return train to Florence. Bonus - the wines and olive oils (truffle - outstanding!) that we ordered arrived at our home 1 week after we placed our order during our visit. Highly recommend - this was a highlight of our Italy vacation!

Best tasting experience ever - Best wine tasting EVER. We ended up tasting 13 different wines. The pours were huge!!! At least 4 ounces each. Had a sommelier all to ourselves who walked us through each wine. Amazing experience. The food was very good as well…but was secondary to the environment and wine. We purchased a nice amount and it was shipped directly shortly after we returned home.

Amazing dinner with wine tasting - This was one of the best experiences we’ve had in a winery. Dinner was well put together with the wine tasting. And although in general we are not big red wine drinkers, the wine tasting introduced us some interesting flavors which were complimented by amazing local food. All the people were extremely friendly and welcoming. We also spent a night in their hotel nearby and would surely like to visit again. We will definitely recommend both the dinner with wine tasting and accommodation! Thank you for this unforgettable experience! :)

Wonderful Wine dinner at the winery - I'm n to sure I checked the correct activity title-- BUT we are a group of six and had a wonderful tour of the facility and grounds just before and during sunset.. This was followed a wonderful wine tasting and dinner in the cellars. The wines are wonderful and at a reasonable price point . Wine purchase is not required, but of course we purchased these wines which are not available at regular wine stores. Wines are only available by purchasing directly from the winery. Shipping was fast and included in the cost of the wines and wonderful olive oil- There is no separate shipping fee. We were So happy with the visit that we are having them come to our house in Florida for a wine dinner at our house.. I will continue to purchase their wines.

Best time! - We had the most amazing experience with Francisco & cousin Kiara at their family vineyard. The experience was 5 star!! Wine was amazing and the food was the best we had through our entire trip. Highly recommend!

Premium Meal with large portions & Wine Tasting - Outdoor private lunch on a beautiful and large estate - with FIVE massive courses, several olive oils, balsamic vinegar, and (of course) a wide variety of wine tasting with at least 8 different wines in a truly UPSCALE setting. This is the luxury version of a winery tour with a fantastic meal - this is not the commodity tour! NOTE: This is a luxury/premium/high quality winery that serves hundreds of folks a meal and concurrent wine/oil tastings per day so you can expect a level of excellence that you won't find on the budget tours. Be prepared for a truly Italian way of eating and drinking that will take a good part of your afternoon. #1 The food was amazing, the portions are LARGE, and the taste was better than could be imagined - truly a high quality lunch that took us 2 hours to get through. #2 Also note this time frame was NOT based on any slowness of service. Fact is - that we couldn't eat everything because it was proportioned for heavy eaters and we are light eaters. The olive oils and balsamic vinegar were also PREMIUM quality with the balsamic vinegar aged 30 years was much like a syrup and so heavenly tasting. #3 The wines at this winery are exclusively sold to local customers and those who order by going through the experience with the meal. These items are not marketed or sold to large industrial holdings such as hotels, restaurants or liquor wholesalers. #4 The white wine (Vernaccia) was awesome! #5 The Chianti Classico, which is always good in and around Tuscany, turned out to be some of the best we have tasted. #5 Because of my sensitive tastes - I was encouraged that the TENUTA TORCIANO staff explained the pairings and reasonings behind each wine. #6 Grades for the hospitality are the highest - right from the start Noemi gave us perfect directions on exactly how to park and what gate to get into. #7 Gabriele escorted us from our car, explained the operation, and gave us a great deal of background on the nature and operation of this winery. It is truly a PREMIUM offering. #8 Luigi went through the wines, oils, and vinegar and showed us pairings and rationale. VERY EXPLANATORY. EVERYTHING about this experience is HIGH QUALITY and PREMIUM PRICED.

Beautiful vineyard, not so great dinner or tasting experience - The vineyard was beautiful and our table was in right in the middle and it was great. What I didn’t like was that they served 3 courses of food right away and the soup and pasta were cold. They pour 4 wines and wanted you to take all the wines with the food. It felt rushed and not very special.

Double-charged and Not Corrected - This started out ok. The booking staff was very helpful and even helped to arrange transport for us. However, when we got there, we had dinner in a tasting room instead of in the vineyard as it was billed. This was the main selling point for us - having a dinner among the vines. It had rained earlier in the day and we thought that might have been the reason for the switch, but we were disappointed by that. The dinner and tasting itself was good. However, there wasn't much commentary about what we were tasting. The food was good and we enjoyed the wine. So far, so good. The main reason for my poor rating, however, is the way that we were double-charged for the experience. I had sent my credit card details with to them for the dinner and the transportation. I received a timely reply that the charge was successful. After dinner, two people in our party purchased wine to be shipped to them. While they were checking out, they were told they owed money for dinner and the transportation. So they paid it. When my friends told me this, I said I had already paid. I went back in to talk to the host and he assured me that my card was only used to hold the reservation and it wasn't charged. However, when I reviewed my account the next day, I saw that it had indeed been charged. I contacted the winery and received a response that they would look into it. However, it has been more than a week and I have sent an additional 3 emails with receipt copies and screenshots showing the charge with no response at all. I have now disputed the charge with my credit card company. I certainly understand that there might have been some confusion on the part of the host, but the business should have quickly corrected the mistake when I brought it to their attention. Given this experience, I cannot recommend this establishment to anyone.
