Lunch and wine tasting experience - Our party of 6 visited the vineyard in October 2023 and had a wonderful experience!! Due to a major accident and traffic jam on the main Hwy, we did not arrive until over 1 hour later than scheduled. Despite this delay, they accommodated our party so that we could celebrate our friend’s birthday at the vineyard:). The wine tastings, lunch (multiple tastings), staff and setting was outstanding in such a beautiful setting! We ordered a couple bottles of wine, truffle olive oil and balsamic vinegar that arrived so timely to our home in Florida. I would highly recommend a visit and only wished we could have stayed longer!

Cooking Class and Wine Tasting Review - My family and I could not be more pleased with our visit to this vineyard. It started with a cooking class with Chef Dante. Let me take a second to specifically praise Chef Dante for being an absolute delight. He was funny, informative, knowledgable, and made us feel like family. His personality made the experience that much more entertaining. We then went wine tasting and also had lunch, including the pastas we had previously made with Chef Dante. Our maestro for the wine tasting, a member of the family who have run the vineyard for generations, also made the experience a great experience, even for those like some in my family who do not frequent wine tastings.

A great wine experience!! - Although we had a bit of a time finding the winery and once we got past the problems with Get Your Guide, through which we actually placed the reservations, the host for our experience (Gabriela?) was wonderful. He took the time to explain each of the NINE wine tastings we would enjoy and encouraged us to "pair" the wines with the 5 or 6 "courses" that would be served. Because our reservation had been double booked by Get Your Guide, he was "double seated" -but did an excellent job of "juggling" two tables. I would encourage the Tenuta Torciano ownership to find a different customer engagement company to work with other than Get Your Guide because repeated attempts to "fix" the double booking completely failed; however the team at Tenuta Torciano were so very courteous & accommodating in providing the EXACT experience my wife & I were looking for. The wine was GREAT and the service even BETTER - highly recommend.

Beautiful location in Tuscany - If you want an outstanding wine tasting in a beautiful environment, visit Torciano! We had a five course lunch in between the grape arbors. We also tasted seven different wines, served by two guys who made the tasting a fun experience.

Amazing wine tasting! - We were here for the second time, because we loved it so much. You get amazing wines to taste and lots of it! You even get to try extra wines if you want. The lunch was ok. Last time the vegan and vegetarian lunch was better than this time. Our son didn’t drink and then 45 for the lunch we got is overpriced. We got mostly the same dishes as the other people but then without meat/cheese, but with nothing added. So you get less, but pay the same. The wine tasting was just as amazing and abundant as last time. So go there with just adults and it’s amazing!

Not so Good This time - Our second trip, this time we brought our grown up kids. Really excited to share this experience. What a let down. So disorganized, sat and waited for someone to acknowledge what was going to happen, we had to get up ask what was going to happen with food. The guy who did tasting was awful, poured red wine into glass that still had white wine it. Paid no attention to us, just not experience. Wine is good, can’t take that away, spend a grand on a case

Uninformed and chaotic wine tasting with a guide that was missing for most of the time. + for good wines - Uninformed wine guide failed to provide much information about the wines, other than the most obvious information. We were left alone much of the time. It was all very chaotic. There was a lot of food but it was dry and over cooked. The wine guide forgot to serve one of the wines, and missed out telling anything about it. Being a wine tasting it was very disappointing especially given all the good reviews we read beforehand. Not going back and will not recommend.

Profits over People - Warning to all possible guests. This winery was recommended by several friends. The week before our trip, I suffered a major tear to my thigh and spent two days in the hospital. The injury prevented me from flying. We had to cancel our trip. We reached out to cancel our reservation immediately after my injury. They refused to refund the tour. They had the audacity to tell us that they hoped to see us in the future. Every single reservation, airline, and lodging cancelled without any penalty due to my injury. These folks put profits over people. Make your reservation at your own risk.

2 words: Tourist Trap - The lunch with wine tasting was included in a vespa tour, which this review isn't about. We would have paid to not go to Torciano today. What a tourist trap! Beautiful location, I have to admit! We however felt like walking wallets, being drummed into a crowded eating room and being educated like children on how to taste wine together with ignorant tourist, mainly Americans. No explanations about history, terroir, the process. They even used the same, used and dirty glasses for different wines, red or white, it all didn't matter. Only a mediocre lunch with good olive oil with truffle and balsamic vinegar. But please, be aware they offer bottles of basic wine (vernaccia) starting from 39 euros going up to incredible levels. With or without shipment, all the same price. This is clearly a company, looking to get money out of the wallets of tourists and we know from first hand they even offer up to 30 percent of their profit to local hotels, who are sending poor tourists there. Commercial, superficial and honestly, mediocre wine sold for premium prices, absolutely ridiculous. I felt ashamed for our company and educated them about other winery's in the region to prevent them from buying at this company. Do yourself a favor and visit a local, small winery and support local, fantastic wine made by people who are proud about their product. If you want to pay money without getting value for it, go ahead and buy at Torciano. I stand by my every word and will give further explanations if necessary. Pieter, Belgium. Visit on the 4th of September 2023
