Great work from Gimhana. - Great safari with an experienced and knowledgeable tour guide. Gimhana was excellent, from the moment he picked us up to the moment he dropped us back at our hotel. He took us on quieter routes away from the other vehicles and helped us to have some very up close but respectful encounters with the elephants. He made the day enjoyable and taught us a lot.

Amazing safari with experienced guide - Amazing safari experience with Gimhana. He was friendly, knowledgeable and took quieter routes through the park which allowed us to see the nature and wildlife without lots of other tourists. We had up close and personal (but respectful) experiences with the elephants and Gimhana was careful to give them their space whilst allowing us to have enough time to watch and enjoy the experience. Great safari! - The safari was an amazing experience and the park is plenty of wonderful animals (the elephants are incredible, but we also saw dozen of different bird species). Our driver Gimhana was an excellent guide, as he constantly explained to us all the informations about the park and the animals we encountered. 5 stars to him!

Amazing!! Best safari for Udawalawe - We booked a seven hour safari and it was amazing! Gimhana even arranged a transfer from Ella to udawalawe and also after the safari to Midigama for a reasonable prize. We also got snacks and water during the Safari, which was quite nice. Gimhana put a lot of effort to make this an exceptional experience by trying to show us all the animals, bring us to quiet and secret spots of the national park and avoid large groups and queues of other Safari guest so it was only us most of the time which was great. We got really close to the elephants and we nearly saw every animal that lives in the park. We probably saw up to 15 elephants that day. He was super nice, knew all kind of animals and even the German words for them which was funny. We can recommend this company 100% - thanks for this wonderful day!

All great! - Gimhana and team were great. The tour itself was great, Gimhana was very knowledgeable. He arranged a van pickup and breakfast, which made things easy too. Saw lots of elephants on the 4 hour morning tour which was a highlight.

Amazing experience that exceeded our expectations - We read a lot of reviews about Udawalawe safaris, and we are so glad that we decided to book with Gimhana. From the start of our communication, he was responsive and helpful. He recommended an afternoon safari because more animals had been seen at that time recently. I'm so grateful for this suggestion. The park was very quiet when we were there--not the kind of chaotic traffic jam you sometimes hear about. Plus we saw every animal we hoped to see and then some--elephants, crocodile, water buffalo, hornbills, monkeys, and peacocks. Much of this was due to Gimhana's expertise and thoughtfulness. He didn't chase the animals around, but patiently explored different parts of the park, listening carefully and pointing out all of the wildlife for us. At every stop, he waited until we told him we were ready to move on. He shared interesting facts with us about the animals and the park. I highly recommend Gimhana's safari.

Gimhana is best tour guide ever for this safari! - Fantastic experience ! Our driver / guide was so great ! We see all the wild animals very close by. He took complete different route as all the other drivers. Very high recommend! Book with this guide and you will not be disappointed!

Experienced and engaging guide - perfect safari experience! - We had a wonderful safari experience with a knowledgeable and experienced guide. He arranged our transportation to and from the national park which made it a very smooth and easy outing. Our guide took good care to show us all of the different animals, big and small and explained everything in very good English. We felt lucky to have such an engaging guide and are so happy we found him! Can highly recommend, you will be in good hands!

Perfect! - The tour was amazing! We saw elephants, crocodiles, shakales, peacocks, buffalos, deer, bee eaters, eagles and many other birds! The guide gave us interesting information, was careful when approaching animals and always handled the situation well for the animals and for us, unlike other drivers we saw on our way. On top, our guide picked us up and dropped us off at our accommodation which was really nice as well. We would highly recommend!
