- City Palace of Udaipur - Your day trip starts with a pickup from your centrally located hotel in Udaipur, the railway station or the bus station in the morning (please refer to Departure Time for options).\n\nThe drive takes about 2 hours (depending on traffic) before arriving at Kumbhalgarh Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Learn the history of the fort while enjoying its mesmerizing view. Commonly referred to as the “the great wall of India,” it features the second largest wall in the world.\n\n Afterwards, visit the Jain Temple in Ranakpur. It is believed that the temple was built in the 15th century under the direction of Seth Dharna Shah, who was a follower of Jainism. He constructed the temple with the help of Rana Kumbha, the king of Mewar whose condition for help was that the temple be named after him. There are four entrances to reach the main chamber where the idol of Adinath is placed. There are also five pillars in the temple and each holds idols of various Tirthankaras. The biggest pillar that stands in the center holds an idol of Adinath.\n\nAfter exploring the temple, you will head back to Udaipur and will be dropped back off to your hotel.

Very interesting and comfortable - Priyanshu is a great driver, even with the challenging road conditions. Both visits were very interesting and well worth the trip. I'm very satisfied with the service.

Well worth checking out. - We leave at 8:30. Castle Hill Road is a bad place to go first. The driver is driving very steady. But I don't think there's any need to go to this place. Thousand Pillar Temple in the afternoon. This is very nice. Just don't let the portraits go. Tickets are 200 rupees a person. Mobile phone 100, can accept girls. Head scarves back at 5:30. It's exhausting. Next time, I'll just go to the temple. Recommended trip.

Kumbhalgarh and Ranakpur Tour with a Calm and Careful Driver - We joined a one-day tour to Kumbhalgarh and Ranakpur, and it turned out to be just the right length to spend a day outside of Udaipur. Both sites are beautiful and well worth visiting.
That said, please note that the road to Kumbhalgarh and Ranakpur goes through winding mountain routes, and some parts of the road are quite rough. Travelers who are prone to motion sickness should take care.
Our driver, Mr. Harisingh, drove very carefully and made the journey comfortable. His calm and gentle personality was a perfect match for us, and we really appreciated his company throughout the day.

One day trip from Udaipur to Kumbhalgarh fort. - I booked Atithi Cabs for a one-day trip from Udaipur City to Kumbhalgarh Fort. Mr. Bheru Singh Ji was exceptionally helpful throughout the journey. He paid close attention to every small need, especially those of the children, ensuring a comfortable experience. He also guided us to additional sites like the Ekling Ji Temple and Sas Bahu Temple. His calm and courteous demeanor made the entire trip truly pleasant.

Weekend Trip in Udaipur - Kumbhalgarh Fort and Ranakpur Jain Temple are amazing to see. Priyanshu was a wonderful host and driver. He made the solo trip safe and enjoyable.

Fun day out - The trip was awesome! The driver Vinode was very accommodating. The views were stunning at Kumbhalgarh Fort and Ranakpur Jain Temple was beautiful.

Thrillseekers only - Not for the faint of heart. - The Fort and Temple were both very impressive once we finally got there, and the spot the driver took us for lunch was delicious, but I don't think these places are developed enough to visit yet. I also value my safety trying to reach my destination. The car did not have seatbelts and the majority of the roads we were on were single lane roads through small villages. Some were asphalt, others were dirt/gravel and under construction. That made the drive to each location scary/dangerous going 60 to 100kph, especially when the driver had to slam the breaks or swerve off the road to slow down for cars coming head on, pedestrians, cows, and big buses. I was surprised they even let tourist buses that size on the roads considering the road conditions. Again, beautiful places to see, but not when I'm holding on for dear life. The driver definitely knew how to drive these areas, but i wouldn't consider it safe.
