Remarkably, no two pillars are alike! The temple has five spires, each housing a shrine, with the largest spire at the main entrance (Chaumukha Shrine) featuring a 6-foot statue of Lord Adinath. Jagmandir - Visit Jagmandir, a palace on an island in Lake Pichola, also known as the ‘Lake Garden Palace’. Construction began in 1620 and was completed around 1652. The royal family used it as a summer resort and for hosting parties. Prince Khurram, later Emperor Shah Jahan, was sheltered here during a rebellion against his father, Emperor Jahangir. The palace inspired the design of the Taj Mahal.
Sajjangarh Monsoon Palace - Located just outside Udaipur, this 19th-century palace sits atop Bansdara hills. Originally intended as an astronomical center by its builder, Maharana Sajjan Singh, it became a monsoon palace and hunting lodge. Though the plan was halted by Maharana Sajjan Singh’s untimely death, it remains a striking feature of the Udaipur skyline, offering stunning views of the city and surrounding areas.
