Incredible gray whales and lots of sea life! - We went out for the morning and had the most incredible time. This was our second time out with Cameron Ocean Adventures. The boat is so comfortable and has a great viewing deck and comfortable cabin to warm up. We went with our toddler and friends and the crew was so fun and knowledgeable. We saw five gray whales that swam right up beside the boat!!! We were also lucky to see sea otters, surf scoters, eagles and sea lions! We can’t wait until our the next trip out!

Professional, Safe, Caring, Excellence - That's how I would describe the crew, the tour and the company! - Where to star with this tour company! It's high season but I didn't want to book tickets and not go or possibly lose out as my mother is elderly and we didn't know if she could get in and out of the boat with her bad knee. Caleb (the owner) and the rest of the crew showed great empathy and care when they were dealing with us. They are all about giving you a positive experience. They held the seats for us and allowed us to come down early to try it out. They made a group effort to help my mother get into and out of the boat and kept checking in with her the entire trip. On the way to and from the boat, climbing the steep ramp, they were there the entire way to make sure she was okay even though it was a turtles pace. They actually cared! On to the actual tour. They made every effort and were successful in tracking down whales and additional sea and wild life. The live narrative was absolutely fantastic; filled with facts, personal observations, scientific explanations and theories, indigenous knowledge and traditions and other cool topics. The crew were super friendly and engaging to everyone on the boat. Whale watching was a bucket list item for my parents and they made sure that it was off the charts! (pun intended). Thank you for making a dream come true and ensuring that it was such a positive experience!

Unforgettable memories, combined fishing and sealife watching - We had an absolutely outstanding half-day private tour with Rayn at the end of August. Our group included two families from Germany, with two children aged 6 and 10. This tour was unlike anything we've ever experienced, and it far surpassed our previous experiences with larger tour operators in Tofino. Rayn crafted a truly customized adventure for us, seamlessly blending an incredible fishing experience for both the adults and kids. Unforgettable memory of catching Chinook salmon, an experience that felt like a blessing, and the respectful and unforgettable catch-and-release of some reef fish. Before and after our fishing excursion, we had the privilege of witnessing majestic bald eagles, playful sea lions, and charming otters in their natural habitat. This entire experience left an indelible mark on our lives, and we are immensely grateful for the private tour, the profound respect for nature and life, and Rayn's expertise in exploring the environment he grew up in. Wonderful trip. - While this was advertised as a whale watching experience, we knew that this could not be guaranteed but conditions were perfect with calm seas and to our delight we came across a female humpback. We followed her for a time and had several opportunities to watch her surface and dive, one of these very close to our boat. In addition we saw Steller and Californian sea lions, sea otters with young, harbour seals and harbour porpoise. Bird life was abundant too. The skipper, Lynette and Nature guide, Rachel were professional and knowledgeable and Rachel answered all the many questions put to her. This was an excellent experience which I would wholeheartedly recommend.

Amazing time!! Highly recommend! - Had an amazing time with Lynette and Rachel on our whale watching tour. Group was small so we always felt like we had room to move around or change spot watching the Ocean. We were lucky enough to meet Pinky, a humpback whale who stayed for a long time around us!! Our guides were both so knowledgable and interesting with all the informations they gave us, really made the whole thing even more special. Thanks again so much, our hearts are still filled with beautiful images of Pinky jumping around.

Great trip - would recommend - Great trip around the Broken Islands group. Saw plenty of wildlife, including a pod of orcas, a humpback whale, sea lions, sea otters and bald eagles. Friendly and knowledgeable onboard team and very helpful office staff too. Would definitely recommend

a must do experience - Wow, this trip is a must do. we saw humpback whales, sea lions, porpoises and even a seal. the boat was very comfortable with places to sit inside and out, it was also fitted with a washroom. the staff were super knowledgeable and so friendly.

Awesome Day of Whale watching!! Highly Recommend! - My brother and I went on a whale watching tour with Cameron Ocean Adventures, and it was a fantastic experience. It's great being on a bit of a bigger boat that also supplies some comfortable seating, a washroom and some reprieve from the sun or rain! We saw all kinds of whale activity and other wildlife, which is beyond the tour operators' control but they definitely know where to go to greatly increase your chances! The staff is really knowledgeable, professional and friendly. We HIGHLY recommend their tours (whale watching, fishing or other)... Great for the whole family, too!

Waste of time and overpriced - uninterested staff - 312,90 dollars for 2 persons. Full expectations appeared at the boat. Fortunately not fully booked. 2 employees incl. female captain on board. Nice sea trip but what did we see? Whale nothing. But at every cliff on which a bird or sea lion sat/lay was stopped and told how beautiful it is. The staff were not to be seen most of the time. There were no references to the whales and their species. No charts were shown etc. Instead, the landscape was occasionally explained. We have been on several whale tours but this one is not worth the money. Way overpriced and disinterested staff. There was more excitement about bored kids leaving stuffed animals on the table. And the luggage was always pushed nicely under the seats. From all (!) other operators we were used to, should no whale be sighted, there was a discount for the next tour up to 75%. Dear organizer: What do you think, how many people are used to this discount? It is the fewest. To all other customers: Try to use another operator.
