Amazing view and doable hike. Do not underestimate the altitude - We had a great time. We chose Palccoyo tour for the amazing views and 1,5/2 hours hike, enough at 4800 meters ;-) round trip with bus was comfortable and great way to see more of Peru

Amazing Experience - Seeing the rainbow mountains was a bucket list item for me and it did not disappoint. The weather was beautiful (not guaranteed), but it was mostly sun with a mix of clouds that you could see casting shadows on mountains in the distance. Joel was a great guide who was willing to take pictures of you and your group as many times as you wanted. He was knowledgable, friendly and kept the mood high. The elevation is a struggle, even if you are in good shape and on altitude medicine. I am not sure how one does Vinicunca because this was easier and still felt hard. The walk isn't that long and there are plenty of places to stop and admire the beauty of the mountains. From this tour, you see several beautiful rainbow mountains up close and at a distance. The food we got for breakfast and lunch was pretty good.

Great tour with delicious buffet! - The tour was super organized! Pick-up worked well, although I had only reserved the night before. The tour itself was great and the food very delicious. The tour guides were very nice and spoke both English and Spanish. I will always think back to this beautiful day! Thank you.

Great for families! - This was a beautiful hike and scenery. It was very doable with kids! They loved having the hiking poles! We had plenty of time for pictures and taking in the views. Not very many other people, which was ideal for the experience!

Hike of wonders - A fairly difficult but extremely gratifying hike, with breathtaking views. Our guide was helpful, knowledgeable and very laid-back, letting us enjoy the adventure at our own pace. Would definitely recommend!

Excellent tour! - This was a wonderful tour. Marco the guide and Hidalgo the driver were both very friendly. Marco gave an excellent explanation of everything - but, most importantly, he was very patient and helpful as we adjusted to the elevation gain.

Palcoyo mountain tour with Marco - An amazing day trip with Marco Esquivel to Palcoyo, provided snacks & water as well as Oxygen for my mother. He's also a highly knowledgeable guide and great with pictures! Highly recommend him and Incan Highlands. Gracias Marco!

Great experience - The tour was great with wonderful views and history of the mountains and their meaning to the culture. The hike can be hard with the elevation but it is worth the views. Our guide was fantastic and offered a lot of encouragement

WARMLY RECOMMENDED!! Thank you Inca Highlands, hope to return to Peru and meet you once - We did some like a 4 days tour: Pisac/Ollantaytambo/Aguas Calientes/Machu Picchu/Maras/Moray/Chinchero/Palccoyo were the main spot we visited.
Perfect organization (gracias Daniela, we “worked together” to this unforgettable experience, she was always taking care of us), very skilled and nice guides who did all to make your dream come true (gracias Emili in Machu Picchu, and the top ever Joel for all the rest, a real artist who also did us a photo shoot😉), and the safety of a great driver (Gustavo 🔝).
I warmly recommend Inca Highlands: get in touch with them, and sure they find how to help you!
