- Palccoyo Rainbow Mountain - Guests will be picked up from their hotel in Cusco at 5:30 a.m. The journey to Palccoyo is about 3 hours and 30 minutes, with the first stop in Combapata for breakfast. Upon arrival at the Palccoyo Pass, there will be a 50-minute uphill hike. Participants will take part in a coca leaf ritual, designed to connect with Mother Earth and foster dialogue. Spectacular panoramic views of the three peaks of Palccoyo’s Rainbow Mountain and the highest mountain in the Cusco region, Ausangate, will be enjoyed. Approximately one hour will be spent taking in the breathtaking scenery. Following this, the group will return to the transportation to proceed to Checacupe, where they will explore its impressive colonial bridge for 30 minutes. Afterward, there will be time to savor a delicious lunch prepared by locals. The private transportation will then return to Cusco, which is approximately a 3-hour drive. Arrival back in Cusco is expected around 5:00 p.m.

Beautiful landscape - Incredible experience beautiful landscapes and Wilfredo very attentive to everything accompanied us very well. I definitely recommend it. We arrived first and could enjoy without people just.

Super trip to Palcoyo - The whole trip was great! We were a small group of 6 people with the guide Wilfredo. He took a lot of time and took a lot of pictures of us.
The car was modern and the food (breakfast and lunch) was super delicious.
We can really recommend the trip! 😊 Thanks!

- The Palccoyo tour with Alex was a great experience. We didn’t do a cocoa ceremony, but the beautiful scenery was enough to leave us amazed. Alex took a lot of time to show us everything and share his knowledge with us. He also took great photos and videos of us. It was really well done from start to finish and we can only recommend it to everyone. Danke Alex!

Must do tour… - Stunning tour with spectacular views of mountains and the ‘rock forest’, a challenging but doable hike, and totally worth the drive there. Drive and tour guide (Wilfred and Cirilo from Chullos Travel Peru who made us feel welcome, safe, informed and attended to all our needs) were excellent and if you can do the private tour, that’s the way to go. We ate breakfast at our hotel and chose the 9am pickup so we didn’t have to waste time on stopping for breakfast. By the time we arrived, all but one small group had already left so we had the mountains all to ourselves and it was wonderful! After the mountains, we enjoyed a hearty and delicious traditional Peruvian meal that completed our day. Once fully sated, we were ready for the trip back. Best way to go esp if you have a small group or want the mountains uninterrupted. What a great day!

Excellent all round - Edwar and Wilfredo were an excellent team. Edwar was extremely knowledgeable and kept up interesting conversation the whole time. He also made us feel that we could go at our own pace, which given the altitude, was much appreciated. And Wilfredo was a very careful driver, which cannot be taken for granted - we have been in some pretty ‘tense’ driving situations up in high mountain passes in Peru. Thank you both for an amazing day.

Day trip to Palcoyo Rainbow Mountain - This was an amazing tour! Our guide Alex picked us up right on schedule at the hotel and explained the day to us. Breakfast and lunch are included with this tour in an authentic Peru town along the way to the mountain and both buffet meals were very delicious. There is a very friendly cat Tokyo who makes you feel welcome while you are enjoying the delicious food. The ride to the mountain is very scenic and our driver was very skilled. Alex was a wonderful guide during the tour and explained how to harness the positive energy of this beautiful mountain range. He even showed us how to build a stone offering to thank Pachamama. I highly recommend this tour and please request Alex as your guide. You will not be disappointed.

Great natural connection - Amazing experience. The tour guide was excellent, very professional. Palccoyo it's a breathtaking place where you are connected with the nature. Albert did a great job explaining and communicating every aspect along the way. I recommend this tour 100%.

Great place to go to, but not with this company. - The view was wonderful and the trip was really worth doing. But the tour was not great. First they tried to make us go earlier. We had booked this trip precisely because it had later pick up times than other tours. We chose the latest which was 8 am. We were then told that since we were going at this time, the tour would not include breakfast. This is depsite it being included on their confirmation ticket. I had to argue about this with their office. Eventually they agreed it would be included. On the day, it wasn't. So they broke the terms of their contract. The girl in the office (Yamile) was very rude.
The driver drove very badly as if he was in a hurry to deliver something. We felt like packages. We never had a guide that provided virtually no information on a tour as this one did. We also felt as we were being hurried and would have preferred to spend more time at the top. The lunch provided was very disappointing for such an expensive tour.
