Highlights
  • Ubud - We start our tour by picking you up from your hotel, and taking you to our Restaurant for breakfast. Afterwards, we’ll taking you to Balinese plantation to learn about the traditional and present day uses of flora. And taste Balinese beverages.

Next, we drive you to the starting point of the main cycling tour. We travel mainly along small village roads and almost entirely downhill. You’ll enjoy the stunning Balinese rural landscape as it should be enjoyed without the hassle of other tourists. Our aim is to show you a Bali that other tourists only dream of: untouched by tourism. We stop off at several points of interest throughout the route, including a large temple and a traditional Balinese home. We stop at lush rice paddies and give you plenty of photo opportunities, especially during our short walk through a rice field during which, if we are lucky, we will see farmers harvesting rice.

Finally, we finished the tour with a traditional Balinese feast in our restaurant overlooking the rice fields. Then, you will get a lift back to your accommodation at the end of the tour.

We love you guys. 🙂 - These guys are fabulous. I learnt so much from them and they were patient and kind and extremely respectful. The tour was fabulous, food was great, ride was hot but easy. They ensured our safety all the way and gave us time to look at things and learn about their culture on the way. Lovely greeting from the family compound we visited and amazing, funny children. Thank you so much for taking us on your tour. We loved it so much. Suksma Matur. 🙂

Best bike experience - There were 3 of us that did this ride.. Two over 70's and mid 60's. We were picked up at our hotel in Nusa Dua at a time that we negotiated. ie a little later. There was only one stop to pick up another couple in Ubud. We then went to choose our bikes. The bikes were all in good condition, but could do with more air in the tyres. I suggest if you plan to do this when at home bring cycle pants with you to were and cushion you on the seat. Once we had our bikes we took of downhill. The two guides were great and very careful for our safety. It was so easy to ride downhill. First stop was at a place where the had swings out over the rice fields and a flying fox. Then Pukuh village at a Traditional Balinese home. The family welcomed us and we learnt a lot about family traditions from the Guide Kadek. Then on the bikes downhill to a Village Temple. After the temple it was downhill to the rice fields. It was fabulous riding through a village, with the local kids putting out their hands for hi 5 and the people saying hello, as we biked past. After the rice fields I decided to end my bike ride due to bruised tail bone from cycling in Sanur the days before. I was picked up by the bus and taken to the Waring for late lunch. The others arrived about 20 mins later and said I got of at the right time as it was uphill for the next part. There was also our friend who couldn't ride a bike so she came for the ride and stayed with the driver and still enjoyed the scenery. We had done Electric bikes prior to COVID and both of us said this one was the best. Definitely recommend it. All 3 of us said later it was the high lite of our trip. Thanks Kadek and your family.

Adventurous and fun family connection cycle - Coffee tasting and jungle tour was so enlightening. The rice fields were beautiful and hearing about the harvest was eye-opening. Such excellent service and great connection effort made with our group which was a mix of teens to our 80 year old dad. Seeing how people lived was humbling and inspiring. Delicious meals. Highlight was the route - 85pc downhill and lovely views of nature and farms. Thank you 😊

The best way to get a glimpse of the real Bali. - I can highly recommend this tour! Kadek and his team are so professional, friendly and knowledgable. Their equipment is great and this is the perfect experience to get away from the touristy areas and get a glimpse at real Balinese life and their incredible culture. There were 12 of us and the trip was managed seamlessly but make sure you have a full day set aside if you are doing it from Bingin/ Uluwatu given the drive in and out and you not wanting to rush it. Definitely do this tour if you want to get a taste of real Bali.

Beautiful ride through the rice paddies - Kadek was a very hospitable and knowledgeable guide. We had a great time and learned a lot about Balinese culture. The western breakfast was alright but the Balinese lunch was fantastic. Certainly recommend ordering the Nasi Goreng and Mie Goreng. During the ride we felt very safe with the guides stopping traffic at times to keep us safe.

Fabulous way to see the countryside! - Kadek is such a friendly, kind and informative guide. We had a fabulous time and learned so much about Balinese culture, family and lifestyle. I’ve been to Bali 7 times, and wish I had done this every time!! It’s a really easy ride…almost all downhill, and through some beautiful scenery. We loved the tour of the coffee plantation, and the tasting!!! The tutor ended with a delicious lunch and Kadek couldn’t have been a better host! Full disclosure…I came off the bike…my own stupid fault (trying to put my water bottle away whilst cycling is apparently not recommended ) Kadek was so concerned and has even contacted me since to make sure I am ok. Just a nasty graze…and I STILL want to do this tour again!!
