Highlights
  • Tegenungan Waterfall - Located at sacred river of Petanu River, Tegenungan Village south part of Kemenuh Village. This is one of waterfall in Bali that are fun to visit and nice for swimming. Waterfalls are sharp drops along the course of a river, actually it’s a very nice place to stay because green and nature plantation surrounding.
  • Mount Kawi - Gunung Kawi Temple complex, locally referred to as Pura Gunung Kawi, is one of Bali’s most unique archaeological sites, comprising a collection of ancient shrine reliefs carved into the face of a rock cliff. The main site overlooks the sacred Pakerisan River, which also flows by the Tirta Empul Temple a kilometre up north. Across the river from the ancient reliefs is a temple courtyard featuring old Hindu shrines in a more contemporary architectural style, which is attended by pilgrims especially during its ‘piodalan’ temple anniversaries.
  • Kintamani Highland - The area of north-eastern Bali at the Mount Batur caldera, and which encompasses Penelokan, Toya Bungkah, Batur, Kedisan, Abung, Songan and Kintamani villages, is known widely as just Kintamani. Kintamani, Batur and Penelokan villages sit on the rim of the huge Batur caldera about 1,500m above sea level, and offer dramatic views of the active volcano Mount Batur and serene Lake Batur. At this area, we also stop for a selected restaurant where you may enjoy your meal while you are overlooking the view of mount and lake Batur.
  • Tegalalang Rice Terrace - Rice Field in Ubud at Tegalalang is famous for its beautiful scenes of rice paddies involving the subak (traditional Balinese cooperative irrigation system), which according to history, was passed down by a revered holy man named Rsi Markandeya in the eighth century. This view alone has an outlook that spreads down before you and away to the rice terraces on the slopes across the valley. The high roadside location is cool and breezy and it is a well-known spot for tourists to stop and take photos.

Wonderful experience in Bali - Wonderful day with our driver Dewa. He was friendly, polite and funny. The vehicle was also clean and well maintained and the AC worked well. We went to the places we wanted and were able to drop the ones that were not of interest to us. We enjoyed having Dewa as our guide so much, we were able to hire him for the following day for a shopping excursion - buying batik fabric ( a quilter's dream) and groceries for local products to take home. Having Dewa as our guide and driver made Bali a memorable experience. We felt like family with him and our two days were spent with a friend showing us the sights.

My best trip to Asia yet - This was one of the best trips I ever had. Mr. Awan was an amazing guide, extremely knowledgeable, answering any questions we had about Balinese culture and local attractions. We did a 3 day trip; Ubud, Mt. Batur, and Nusa Penida. All 3 had stunning views, Mt. Batur trekking being my favorite of all. Just make sure you have non-slip shoes if you are doing the mountain trekking. The Nusa Penida tour with snorkeling was also pretty good, but the beach tour after the snorkeling felt a bit like a rush to us, due to the tourist season and heavy traffic jam, driving on the rugged terrain for many hours. Thanks to the team for the lovely hospitality, especially Mr. Awan for welcoming all sorts of curious questions from us.

Nice Experience in Ubud - Mr Oka, my tour guide and driver of today is so great, he is friendly and he has a lot of knowldge about culture, history and people of Bali. And he is very disiplin guy, always on time, also knows some alternatives of road because traffic jam in Ubud area is so terrible. So my tour was on schedule and no stress of traffic jam. His car is so comfortable, clean. I strongly recommend him as a your tour guide for Ubud area!

A fun day - We had Mawa as our tour guide and he taught us many things about Bali and the culture here. He was very friendly and had answers to all our questions. If you do an Ubud tour, we recommend you do it with this company and ask for Mawa.
