Putu resides in the home of her forebears, nestled within a traditional family complex. Upon your arrival, you’ll be greeted by her elders, her spouse, Pasta, and their trio of offspring. From a tender age, Putu honed her culinary prowess under her grandmother’s tutelage, mastering the art of daily meal preparation. These skills have since blossomed into both a professional calling and a heartfelt hobby. Employed as a chef at a pair of exclusive estates, Putu crafts innovative Balinese cuisine, much to the delight of her patrons. She takes considerable pride in the aesthetic arrangement of her creations, garnishing them with intricately carved produce. In her domestic life, she is tasked with the creation of sacred offerings, ranging from modest tributes to towering fruit structures that she balances atop her head during religious festivities. Additionally, Putu concocts homemade jamu, a traditional medicinal brew derived from turmeric.\n\nPutu’s grandparents, who cultivate rice, will offer you their own harvest during your meal. You’ll be invited to explore their homestead, including a tour of the family’s spiritual sanctuary, where they will elucidate the significance of the various sacred items. Their property boasts a lush orchard with an array of trees bearing jackfruit, cacao, durian, coffee, and bananas. The family also raises a collection of animals, including pigs, ducks, chickens, and a cow.\n\nNote: The cost covers a round-trip transfer from your accommodation in Ubud.\n\nPoints of Interest\n\n- Komaneka at Bisma
