Easy cycling and a highlight of our trip - This downhill cycling tour was amazing. A highlight of our trip to Bali! Service and communication was great. Also helped us with a cost effective and secure care of our luggage and transferred us between hotels on the day of our tour. Truly wonderful experience that the children still talk about almost a year later. Thank you Friends of Bali!

Amazing Activity and Great Guide! - This experience was amazing, made even better by Wayan who was a fantastic guide! He was so knowledgeable, funny, and accommodating! We finished the tour knowing so much about Balinese culture. We loved everything about it and the bike ride was a lot of fun going downhill and super easy! Thank you Wayan! 10/10 recommend this experience!!

Bali Cycling - Nice and easy cycling experience, just as it states, totally downhill. Gave an experience into the real working life of the Balinese people.

An awesome experience - This was an awesome experience. Riding through ricefields and local villages with locals saying hi as you rise past. It is truly a unique experience and mostly downhill with a surprising amount of speed

Had a fantastic cycling... - Had a fantastic cycling trip. Nearly all downhill through mostly beautiful peaceful countryside. Trip also included coffee tasting, a temple and traditional house tour, and very nice lunch at the end. Bikes were safe and well maintained. Thoroughly recommend.

By nature. wonderfully quiet far away from all the busy traffic. - Something different again. A bike ride downhill as if I were on my e-bike ;) February is the monsoon season and we were unlucky enough to arrive at Mount Batur in rain and clouds. Still started with the ponchos on, of course. Really bad luck, heavy rain almost the entire way. So taking pictures wasn't really an option. A nice trip in itself, beautiful nature, visited the rice fields, temple, drove through villages, visited a Balinese family and our guide Wayan Sudayasa explained everything and talked about the village customs. The trip ended with lunch. We have not visited the photos of others with a visit to the coffee plantation and waterfall. Another bike ride perhaps?

A Neat Experience, Worth It. - Our pickup was 2 hours late, we didn't get to see the Kintamani volcano view point or visit the school as advertised in this listing, probably because we were already late in the day. The tour itself was really great. You cycle downhill for most of the tour, making several stops along the way at a local village, local rice fields, and even visit a local family temple. The tour guide did a great job educating about Balinese culture. Overall, a good experience and neat way to visit the lesser-visited and populated areas of Bali.

Bali Eco Downhill has gone Downhill! - This is our third time with this tour. Unfortunately this one was not like the others and was not as described on the website nor as we have previously done. Not sure if we were late but the tour skipped the volcano and breakfast so we did not get to eat until the restaurant at 1:30pm. The guide said the tour no longer goes to the volcano as it is too busy. Doesn’t sound right considering it’s the low season. We will not take this tour again as it was not as described and has become quite expensive for what it provides. Small rice and a chicken wing for lunch. Pay for your own drinks! Not good. Not as described. Too expensive.

AWFUL- stay away! - DO NOT BOOK THIS TRIP. Tour company never showed up at our hotel. Viator was unable to connect with them either. When we finally reached them (after waiting more than 45 minutes), they said they’d do the same tour tomorrow. We asked for later that day as we had plans for the next day already. Tour company said OK, however, did not tell us that they would not be providing 2 meals (only had one meal that was not great), also missed tour of the school, and had a shortened tour. Company would not give us a partial refund and was incredibly rude. I’ve done many Viator tours, I can’t believe that Viator works with this company.
