Great tour of Newcastle’s most sordid crimes - Jo took us on an engaging tour of the various sites of murder and mayhem, delivering her true crime stories with intrigue, humour and a storyteller’s flair. She gave insightful historical context about each of the murder sites, conveying a sense of Newcastle’s sweeping history with some of its most infamous murders and heinous fiends. Especially loved the part about Heron’s oubliette. Very creepy to see a pit of despair at night knowing what happened down there centuries ago! Came away feeling like I learned a lot about Newcastle as a historical city in the process, and would definitely recommend this tour to friends and family!

Interesting & highly recommended - Really interesting tour full of interesting information. I have lived in Newcastle 54 years and I learned a few facts about the city I didn’t know as well as a few little lanes I have never seen before!!

Interesting and Informative - My friend and I really enjoyed this tour.
Anna, our guide was very informative and told us about interesting things that we did not know about. The time flew by and before we knew it the tour was at an end. We would certainly recommend this tour.

Amazing fun true crime tour - Anna was an amazing tour guide. It was one of the best walking tours we have been on. It was full of fascinating information. Time went by so fast because we had so much fun. And we have a new appreciation for Newcastle! I would recommend this tour to everyone!

Pleasant wander round Newcastle - Anna was an entertaining and pleasant guide . Could have wandered for longer ! Some uneven steps at the end but nothing too strenuous . Not for wheelchair uses.

Highly Recommended - What an absolutely wonderful experience! We learned so much from Jo about our local city, she was an incredibly knowledgeable guide which made the 90 minutes fly by. Jo always found a place to stop which meant we could hear her very clearly bearing in mind the tour was held on a warm Friday evening in June. Thank you so much Jo.

Very informative walking tour - We had an amazing time on this walking tour. Josh was an excellent tour guide, spoke clearly, and answered all our questions about Newcastle. It was a very informative walking tour, not only about true crime but about the history of Newcastle. I fully recommend this tour for anyone interested in learning more about the vast history of Newcastle.
