Wonderful Tour and Tour Guide - I really enjoyed the walking tour and I would highly recommend it to people looking to learn about Newcastle’s history and see different parts of the city. It’s a fun way of spending a couple of hours and the guide Olivia was superb in sharing her knowledge and providing lots of facts and anecdotes. She made the tour a great experience!

90 Minutes of entertaining history - Dan’s 90 minute tour was great! This is our first time in Newcastle. We would not have visited any of these sites had we not gone on the medieval tour. Dan is a great tour guide and quite funny. Recommend to anyone who can walk up and down the hills of Newcastle.

An Excellent experience - An amazing 90 minutes with our guide Dan. He really brought something special to the tour by the way he dressed and the history we were provided about Medieval Newcastle. There was a bit of walking as you may expect, there were some hilly areas, but anyone with a reasonable level of fitness is able to do it. The Keep entry fee is included and this really makes it worthwhile. A great experience and I would recommend it to anyone visiting as you do get a sense of the city.

Medieval highlight of Newcastle visit - I went on the Sunday morning walking tour led by Dan. He was very knowledgeable about the history of Newcastle, with a particular interest in plagues and gave a local take on Medieval history in a border city that I had not considered before. He was engaging and enthusiastic and was able to answer most questions, I would highly recommend this tour.

Very enjoyable, interesting and informative tour by Heather! - We, a couple from the Netherlands, unexpectedly received a free tour. It turned out to be a very enjoyable, interesting and informative tour. She is so interested herself that when we asked her a question she wasn't sure about, she said she would look into it! :-) After the tour, we offered her £20 as a token of our appreciation, but she refused... What an awesome and driven lady Heather is.

A great tour with Thomas - A great way to get into the history of Newcastle. Loads of interesting facts and dates about the medieval period in the city… it’s my home city but I didn’t have a clue about the history or buildings that I’ve walked past over the years. A great eye opener! Thomas was a very informative and engaging tour guide. Would definitely recommend!
