Great Adventure with Kids! - MOM LOOKING FOR ADVENTURE! I brought my 10 yr old son and my 8 yr old daughter. I wanted to take my kids on an adventure in the Snake River Canyon. This tour was educational! I was born in Twin Falls, and now live in Boise, Idaho. I have come back to visit almost yearly for the past 40 years, yet I have never ridden on a boat on the Snake River under the Perrine bridge! Carlyn and Braden, our guides, taught me facts and history that I had never known before! During the tour, Braden led us to a safe waterhole at Pillar Falls- that my children and I were able to swim and splash around in. He informed us of the hazardous waterholes there due to the lava tubes and undertows! I was grateful for him! Thank you AWOL Sports for providing a way for me to take my children on a safe FUN adventure! The departure point is in Centennial Park - this is a great place to hang out afterward! We picnicked in the park and then explored the Perrine Coulee Falls on our way out of the canyon!

Great day trip - Tyler(captain) and Braxton were our guides for this adventure. They told us stories about the area that were informative. It was a peaceful and Beautiful ride on the pontoon boat to the pillars. We were very comfortable and had shade covering for such a hot day. When we arrived at the pillars Braxton took us to explore them and told us stories there as well. On the back Tyler was able to point out the Base Jumpers on the bridge. He stopped so we could watch 4 of them jump. It was really exciting to see. Great day trip. Thank you both for all the information.
