VIDEO FRAUD - I was recommend by Total Snorkel Cancun to Captain Whale Shark. The people on the boat wore something on their shirts that said Mininas tours. We were not allowed to wear wetsuits, only flotation devices instead. The breakfast that they give you is a banana, some bread treat, and a yogurt with crackers. The place was 19 miles out and there were other boats there when we got there. There’s only two people allowed in the water at the time. BE SURE TO BRING YOUR OWN VIDEO EQUIPMENT. They will tell you they deleted the good videos and that some of the divers want to sell those for an extra buck. I was shown some videos from the divers PHONE that he took on the go pro. I said that I wanted those. There was an announcement on the boat and we were told that those videos were FOR FREE. Now after my trip, they are telling me that those videos had to be bought and then they said that they were deleted. I want the videos from my first jump. They had no problem sending me the videos from the second jump of me recording the sharks. But when I WASNT recording the sharks from the first jump, they happen to disappear? There was even one with me and a manta ray AND a whale shark in one take. Why would those randomly be deleted? Daniel Meza will not respond to me from Captain Whale Shark. Carlos on Contoy excursions is the only one communicating with me. Also they ask for tip at the end of the tour.
