What a great experience! - Our day was truly wonderful. We were picked up at our doorstep, then went directly to Tankah Park. We met our guide, Levan, and he made us feel welcome and at ease right away. We visited each of 4 cenotes, and had a different experience at each one. There was cliff jumping, cave exploring, canoeing, snorkeling, and 3 different zip lines. Levan taught us some Mayan words, gave us interesting information about some of the plants and animals, and made sure we had time to enjoy each cenote's individual features. He and all of the people there made us feel safe and relaxed. The authentic Mayan meal was delicious, and we left with full bellies and smiles on our faces. We purchased the photos they took, and they're really great pictures. I'm going to have some of them printed and framed. I learned a lot about the Mayan culture, and their reliance on keeping these waters clean and the forest and it's animals protected. It was a day we'll never forget. I'm so glad we did this tour.
