Sian Ka’an - After passing the entrance to the Sian Ka’ an Biosphere, the guide will give an introductory tour on the biosphere. After driving for another 30 to 40 minutes on an unpaved BUMPY ROAD (this is an adventure!) you will board a boat in order to explore the coastal lagoons and marine ecosystems that characterize Sian Ka’an, and discover the fauna and flora that lies within it.
IF the weather allows it, we jump into the water to snorkel on a section of the barrier reef system, home to thousands of aquatic species. Later on, we visit a beautiful sandbank the locals call “nature’s swimming pools”, where we take time to relax & swim. In the town of Punta Allen, located at the tip of the headland overlooking the bay, we have a local lunch and take some time to relax.

Sian Ka’an is among the most expansive conservation zones in Mexico, home to an impressive assortment of flora and fauna. The optimal way to explore Sian Ka’an is via a boat journey, where one can traverse different maritime and coastal ecosystems which are the dwelling for an array of wild bird species, turtles, dolphins, manatees, and the prized fish species of the Mesoamerican reef. The package comprises transport from Tulum, lunch in Punta Allen and snorkeling gear. The snorkeling excursion is contingent on the ocean conditions, which can sadly not always be predicted until we arrive at the sea. Additionally, should the weather turn unfavorable, this tour may be prone to cancellation.

Perfect wildlife tour - Amazing day, everything I hoped for and we were lucky to see a lot of different wildlife. Tour guide Jessica was very knowledgeable and taught us all about the biosphere while making sure we had a great time

Incredible eco-friendly tour of the flora & fauna of Sian Ka'an - This full day adventure was incredible. Our guides, Chris & Lea were warm, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the Sian Ka'an area. They worked hard to ensure we had a fabulous time and learned about the area. We saw incredible wildlife from a manatee, sea turtle, dolphins, and a wide variety of birds and flora in the area. The snacks and lunch were delicious, eco-friendly (no plastic water bottles and home-made incredible bars), Punta Allen was such a lovely and quaint little village. Overall would highly recommend this tour and these fabulous guides. Our van driver and boat driver were also great and got us to all our locations safely while also respecting local wildlife.
The trip is worth every penny. Book it and enjoy the memories for a lifetime.

Great experience 10/10 - We thoroughly enjoyed the tour through Sian Kaan. We saw a lot of different interesting animals including dolphins, sharks and manatees. Jessica was the best tour guide. She entertained our group and taught us a lot about Sian Kaan and its ecosystem.
Her energy was infectious and was always up to a good joke. We would totally recommend the tour to anyone interested.

Unmissable trip to Sian Ka'an with superb guide Jessica - Just back from 2 weeks in Mexico and a highlight was the full day to Sian Ka'an with MexicoKanTours. A magical day where everything was well explained and we felt well looked after from pick up by driver Gualberto. Our tour guide Jessica ensured none of the, multi language group, missed any of the detail - really wonderful to have a guide so passionate about the area and wildlife. Would recommend to anyone.

Excellent trip to Sian ka’an - We went to Sian Ka’an during our staying Mexico, Angie was our tour guide very knowledgable of the local area, wildlife and the history. Jasmine was the captain of the first speed boat such an amazing experience.
During our travel we saw dolphins, turtles and a croc, great to see in the wild. A place that’s untouched pure natural ❤️

Amazing Day in the Biosphere - So many wonderful comments for this tour with Mexico Kan. Transportation from our condo was such a great deal. Axel was right on time and safe driver.
Jessica and Luigi were our guides. Very enthusiastic, knowledgable and caring. Luigi was our boat guide and so much FUN and great photographer!
We saw all we hoped to minus crocodiles and no snorkeling at reef due to rough sea. Lunch at Punta Allen was a real delight…especially the Lobster!

Great trip - A really fantastic day out. 12 guests in the bus with excellent guides Christina and Jessica, then split into 2 boats with a guide in each. We saw Manatees, turtles, dolphins, crocodiles, stingrays and an Osprey nest with 2 chicks as well as lots of birds. The lunch at Punta Allen was really delicious.
Christina and Jessica were both so enthusiastic about the reserve and keen to share their knowledge - thoroughly recommended

Experience Mexico’s Wildlife - Pablo and Martin were incredible guides. They had a deep knowledge of the park/ecosystems and make it a great experience! We were able to see dolphins, manatees and sea turtles up close as well as a ton of birds. Well worth the cost for the experience.

The happiest guides in the world, showing you one of the most majestic places in the world - This is a must do in Mexico to see the wonders of the beautiful landscape. We were lucky enough to see manatees, dolphins, birds galore, crocodiles and even snorkelled with turtles.
While I know there is a bit of luck
Involved in nature holidays, the trip would not have been half as good if we didn’t get our guides Pablo and Martin. They were generous with their knowledge and spirit, and made the day such a happy and memorable one.
I would definitely recommend this tour based on our guides.

Crocs and dolphins and turtles, oh my! - We spent two weeks along the Riviera Maya and this was definitely one of the highlights of the entire trip. Maca and Oscar were incredible guides with an obvious passion for the job and for the area. They made the tour fun and informative while ensuring we got to experience as much as possible. They took us to a lesser-used reef for snorkeling away from the crowds where we got to see tons of wildlife, including fish, lobsters, rays, and two species of sea turtle, one being a loggerhead! Punta Allen was a beautiful little town to explore and the provided lunch from a local restaurant was delicious. We couldn’t recommend this tour enough.
