So much fun! - Fernando was amazing. Very knowledgeable. He knew a lot about the Mayan civilization. He listened closely to what we wanted to do. We never felt rushed. We saw the ruins. We saw sea turtles and stingrays, we played on the beautiful Talum beach and had an awesome lunch in a picture perfect place. It was a great day. The transportation was comfortable and very clean. We had a 4 year old, a preteen, parents and a grand mother. Thanks for a great trip and wonderful memories.

Wonderful Tulum/Snorkel Tour - Booking this private tour was easy through email exchanges and the van that transported us to Tulum arrived on-time and was very clean. Ulyses was very upbeat and knowledgeable about not only Tulum, but also Mayan history in general. He taught new Spanish and Mayan words to use which was a lot of fun. While snorkeling, he made sure that we saw all of most interesting fish and coral. Finally, our taco lunch in Tulum was amazing. Great toppings, meat, and tortillas! Thank you for a great day and perfect photos to remember the trip!

Money Well Spent - Cesar was our personal tour guide and he went above and beyond in order to ensure we had a great experience! Unfortunately the water was too rough for us to be able to snorkel the reef like we had planned our trip for, but Cesar offered us a variety of different options that would still ensure we got the best value for the money spent. Skipping the lines to get access to some of the most sought after attractions! We truly felt like the experience was personalized to us and Cesar was so friendly, and genuine! He was super knowledgeable about the culture and it's history. Would highly recommend this touring company and spending a little more for a private expierence is totally worth it. The vehicle was clean, they had cold water and snacks and Cesar was on time picking us up from our hotel!

Excellent personalized tours with Perfecto and Cesar - Had two great tours with Carey Tours! Day 1 to Sian Kaan with Perfecto! Boat ride thru mangroves and then floating down the "lazy river"! Then off to Muyil A.Z. to see close-up a Mayan community. Ended the day with excellent tacos in Tulum! Thank you Perfecto! Day 2 to Tulum A.Z. with Cesar! Walked thru the Mayan community from above then what a treat to get into a boat and view from the sea! Snorkeling off of Tulum was amazing! Stingrays and turtles!! Excellent fish tacos at a beach club then finished the day with a dip in a cenote!! Thank you Cesar! Our family would highly recommend Carey Tours!

Touring Tulum & Reef Snorkeling - We had a wonderful day with Limbert touring Tulum, snorkeling at the reef inTulum and visiting a cenote. Limbert was engaging and shared so much information about the area and it's history with us! We had a little blip in Tulum as they closed all the roads out due to a political issue, but Limbert figured out a way to get us back to our resort (luckily, he grew up in Tulum and knew his way around)! It was a much longer route home but he made the best of it for us and showed us all the Mayan villages that are still actively lived in today. Communication was great with Carey Tours right up to the day of the trip. I just wish that we had scheduled additional tours with them as well! Highly recommend!

Definitely recommend! - We had a great experience with Carey Tours. We actually did 2 tours with them. The first tour was the Tulum/ Cenote tour. Perfecto arrived right on time to the hotel and explained the history of the area as we traveled to Tulum. From there, we headed to a nearby cenote to snorkel in the cave. It was so cool! Perfecto lead us around the formations, and we could see the stalagmites and stalactites. Because we were such a small group (2), we were able to beat the other groups coming from Tulum, and were heading out of the cenote as 2 larger groups arrived. From there we headed to lunch, where we had some great guacamole and combination platter. Our next tour was the Muyil Ruins and Sian Kaan Channels Private Tour. The ruins were good, but we had an awesome time floating along the mangroves in the lazy river of the Sian Kaan Channel. Lunch was delicious! Don't judge the restaurant by it's appearance, the tacos and tamales were awesome. Finally, because we had booked 2 tours, Fernando had our guide take us to another cenote on our way back to the hotel. This was an open cenote and one of the ones they stop at on the Cenote Tour. I would definitely recommend Carey Tours. They were professional, on time, responded quickly to emails, and it was nice to tour on our own.

Great excursion! - This was a really enjoyable excursion. Fernando was excellent, very friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and made everything quite easy. Not only did we enjoy being picked up from our hotel, going straight to the Tulum archaeological site, followed by snorkeling and a bite to eat, but we learned a ton along the way. Fernando did a great job of providing historical and cultural context to the things we were seeing, which added a great deal to the experience. He also made dealing with the inevitable crash of tourists tolerable. Recommended!

BEST DAY EVER - First let me start by saying Fernando is the greatest tour guide of all time. We started our day at the ruins which was beautiful. Fernando provided us with all the historical facts and took amazing pictures of our group. Next we went on a boat ride and went snorkeling. Fernando knows the perfect spots to go. We then had lunch right on the beach. The day ended at the most gorgeous cenote I’ve ever seen. Throughout the day Fernando captured each experience with his camera. It was by far the best day of our trip and I cannot wait to go on another tour with him. He is truly a special soul and I will forever be grateful for the wonderful memories he provided for us !!!!

Once In A Lifetime Experience - We had an incredible experience with Fernando this week in Akumal. He promptly picked us for our private tour at our resort in Xpu-Ha at 8am. We arrived at Akumal bright and early, ahead of any other guests for. We had the entire place to ourselves. Fernando, along with one of the local guides took us snorkeling where we were able to see many beautiful sea turtles. After, we enjoyed breakfast at Lol Ha, enjoying the views of Akumal Bay. Fernando was friendly and knowledgeable. 10/10 we would definitely recommend and use him again !!!
