Exhausting, expensive and not worth it! - Go to Holbox by yourself with the ferry - Positive - 1 - The tour guide Arturo was great and able to explain the tour very well. Engaging and always available. 2 - Yallhau cenote is lovely and refreshing. We also saw a crocodile (outside the lagoon). Negatives - 1 - Tour booking operator Omar is not helpful - A) Communication was very frustrating and barely polite due to his inability to speak and understand basic english. B) Despite bad weather conditions the tour was still executed without possibility to cancel with refund even if we were uncomfortable to travel considering the tropical cyclone. The tours are not cancelled unless the port is closed, but this is unfair to customers given that the islands are not very enjoyable in extreme rainy weather. C) This tour was advertised with a dock tax of $US 3 included and after booking he requested us to pay again the tax apart. Despite showing him the Viator ad for the tour he insisted to pay, which we finally had to. 2 - Very long tour - The tour was 15 hours long with 6 hours of bus from Cancun. During the bus ride the AC was kept very high at the point to have to cover ourselves with towels to not freeze. 3 - Poor food - The breakfast/snack was below average, the sandwich was not even smelling good. The lunch included on the island was cold and overcooked. The drinks included in the boat trip are 1 small water, 1 pepsi and 2 corona beers which can be requested solely on the boat. This means that if you ask for water once you are on the land you can't have it anymore.
