Amazing group Amzing guides - The experience was very exciting and educational. Also, hot and long. It was not a 20 person tour. We had 45 people. During the 12 hours plus that we were on this tour our guides were exceptional. The history was given in both Spanish and English. Antonio stayed with us so we would not be lost or late. The care given by our wonderful guides made the experience. Thank you!

Sunday excusion! - Booked this for a Sunday and understood too late that Sunday is free for residents so very crowded. Tulum has NO shade so be prepared with lots of water and/or umbrella. Coba is very nice - even tho we didn't climb to the top (chicken!). Cenote does not look the pictures here but crystal clear water. We wore out suits and then took a towel to change iinto street clothes afterwards. Could have skipped the hour in Playa del Carmen - just souvenir shopping. Comfortable a/c van with great tour guide (Ricardo) who explained everything to English/Spanish speaking tourists. Jorge was a great driver too. be sure to pay attention to where you are to meet after Tulum for lunch and how to get there. We misunderstood and almost gave our guides a heart attack when we were late getting back for lunch.

Almost good - I was quite happy with this tour and Agustin, our tour guide, was doing a great job. In general, it was a very pleasant tour - comfy air-conditioned bus, an international group of tourists, plenty of valuable information. The first disappointment came after booking the tour. They informed me Coba will be closed this week and this spot of the tour will be replaced by another one. I genuinely thought: "Well, it happens, probably the site is closed for renovation, and I was unlucky to get it during the week I booked". But when we arrived in Tulum, I found that Coba is closed for a long time and is not going to be open any time soon, but this company keeps offering and selling the tour with Coba in. The other unpleasant thing was in the bus, already on the way, they tried to upsell the tour for about 12 USD for getting a few drinks more. And I really didn't like the choice of a cenote. From so many cenotes in the area, this one looked like the poorest one, with the worst facilities. If I compare it with Ik Kil cenote, nearby Chichen Itsa, this one was not worthy at all. But in general, good idea, with not-so-perfect performance.

The tour is just what they say it is. - This tour was "okay". The Tulum tour was interesting because we did get some history of the ruins. We had a problem with the bus air conditioning which I do not fault anyone for. Sometimes things like this happen and the guide and driver were very nice about it and provided everyone with drinks and the problem was handled quickly by getting another bus. I will say the only issue with this was we were sitting in the back of the bus and it was pretty hot back there. When we got off the bus at the end of the trip we mentioned this to the guide and he said the had turned the AC down because he and the driver were too cold up in front. (thanks for asking how the rest of us were). We did Coba next. I wish we would have gotten some information about Coba but we got nothing. Not even the fact that the biggest ruins were quite a hike away and we did not have enough time to walk there. Fortunately we asked inside of other people and rented a bike transport. So we did get a little information that way. The stop in Playa Del carmen was a bathroom stop. I think it may have been longer if we did not have a problem with the bus so I cannot really comment on that. I think if I could book this type of tour again I would have wanted one that had more commentary on the history of the ruins. Overall it was not a bad tour. They delivered what they promised so I cannot complain that they did not. I just would choose one with more history next time.

13-14h trip !!! - The most important first - I would not sign for "best tours" in cancun. Please do not consider that if the tour mentions 10 hours and start at 7am that this is correct and you will be back at 6pm or even 5pm. We have been picked up at 8am and been back at around 10pm. When you book the tour consider that the complete day is off. We have missed our table reservation at 8pm due to this and even when complaining neither the tour nor viator could support solving this in a sufficient and satifing way. Coming to the tour, Tulum was nice to see (would have wished having more time there), Coba dissapointing as no one (even during the tour) did not mention that climing the piramid is currently not possible, the cenote was nice (cave cenote - completly underground), the 5th Ave. at Playa del Carmen is very crowded and you arrive there quite late (8pm). Nice restaurant and cafes but have had just enough time to walk once the 5th Ave down and back to the bus. In total, I would more command to rent a car and go to the places on your own. Avoid wasting most of the time in the bus and having just a view hours at the places.

Overcrowded and not English speaking friendly - Be prepared for an incredibly long day (not the 12 hrs as advertised) and absolutely no attempt at social distancing within our 40 person group. We were gone from our resort for 16 hrs. Although the tour guide seemed nice, we gathered only 25% of the information given as he spoke in Spanish almost entirely (even though we paid for a English tour). Luckily, I know just enough Spanish to get by. The Mayan ruins were beautiful, but due to time, we were unable to visit the cenote or the beach in Tulum. There was an unexpected stop for one hour at a Mayan village prior to the cenote; the villagers were welcoming but again, this was a stop that wasn’t advertised. The cenote looked nothing like the pictures advertised. It was more like a cesspool filled with children and grossly overcrowded. We opted to not get in the water and instead enjoyed a drink at the bar. Finally, unbeknownst to us, we went out of the way to Playa del Carmen. Per the itinerary, we were only to stop there if there were hotels on that route during pick up. Needless to say, we had no idea this was happening until we were there; we were told that the bus would park for an hour and you could shop or go to a bar. By this time, it was 8pm, dark and being unable to have a guide willing to go with us and speak English, we opted to stay on the bus. We were the last stop arriving at 10:30pm and missed dinner reservations because of the extended time. Some may like the idea of cramming everything into one day, but this wasn’t our plan. We had no time to enjoy the things we really wanted to see and most concerning, we didn’t have the full experience because our tour guide didn’t explain everything in English as advertised.

Rushed - If you want to feel rushed and spend more time on a bus this is the tour for you, once you get on the bus they’ll perform the old bait and switch on you, and pretty much forced to upgrade for 16 usd per person.
