Incredible Experience with the Best Guide – Paloma! - Our tour to Chichen Itza, the cenote, and Valladolid was absolutely unforgettable – and a huge part of that was thanks to our amazing guide, Paloma. From the moment the tour began, she brought such a vibrant energy and deep knowledge that made the entire experience come to life. Paloma was not only incredibly informative about the history and culture of the Mayan ruins, but she also had a real gift for storytelling. She painted a picture of the ancient world that helped us truly appreciate the significance of everything we were seeing. Her passion was contagious, and she made every stop feel meaningful. She also went above and beyond to make everyone in the group feel welcome, comfortable, and engaged. Whether it was helping us navigate the cenote, recommending great food in Valladolid, or answering all of our questions with patience and enthusiasm – she was on point all day. If you’re lucky enough to have Paloma as your guide, you’re in for a top-tier experience. She made this day trip one of the highlights of our time in Tulum. Highly recommend this tour – and definitely ask for Paloma!

Insiders Mexico - The tour met the timeline/schedule promised. The tour guide Cezar was knowledgeable but more importantly took the time to meet each guests needs. We felt like we were travelling with really smart family the whole day. Adjustments were made along the way to meet walking abilities and interest of each member of the group. We do a tour again with this group tomorrow!

Amazing experience Chichen Itza, Valladolid, Cenote - The day started when we got picked up at our airbnb. The transport was on time (7:30 am) and they provided snacks and a large cold water container to refill our water bottles. We started by driving to Chichen Itza where we had a tour and time to explore after. Our guide Alonso was very knowledgeable with the history of Mayans and the site but also everything related to Mexican culture, history and even Mexico’s fauna which was very interesting. This tour started early which was great to beat the crowds at Chichen Itza. After that we went to Valladolid where our food was served right when we arrived. The food was traditional Mexican cuisine and the restaurant is beautiful. It was also nice to speak with Alonso on different topics like Mexican cuisine and the history of Valladolid. After that we had time to explore Valladolid. Finally we went to a beautiful cenote where he explained the history of cenotes. At the cenote, we were alone for the majority of the time there which was nice. Overall the tour was great, it was very well organized. It included everything so no need to pay extra entry taxes anywhere. Alonso was an amazing guide, he spoke multiple languages and the explanations in french and in english were both very detailed. But at the same time he didn’t overload us with long explanations and really answered all of our questions very well. Would definitely recommend this guide and this company!!!! Thank you -Justin and Genève

Excursions on top! - We booked 5 excursions with this travel agency, found on the internet a bit by chance... We were not disappointed. All the excursions were very well organized , usually early in the morning to enjoy the places without too many tourists and for the heat too. We made Tulum/Coba/cenote then Chichén Itzá/Valladolid/cenote, private family excursion to enjoy turtles in Akumal and 2 cenotes, then the biosphere of Sian Ka'an and finally the island of Cozumel to do snorkelling and enjoy the beauty of the water. Thanks to all our passionate guides, Paco, Raphael, Cécilia, Nadia and Sophie. Everything was perfect and the kids (and parents) leave with amazing memories. Don't change anything!

Great Small Group Tour - We found this tour on TripAdvisor - the reviews were very positive, and the cost was reasonable compared to other small tours. Our guide Paloma was excellent. She explained everything clearly - the itinerary, the sites, their history and culture. When we arrived at Chichen Itza, we didn't have to wait in long lines to enter, as our admission tickets had been arranged in advance. Paloma gave us a wonderful tour of this vast and spectacular ancient wonder, and she was so good at taking photos of everyone! Next we visited the charming colonial city of Valladolid where we enjoyed a delicious lunch. Our last stop was Cenote Xux Ha - pristine, beautiful, and not at all crowded. Our driver David was cheerful and drove safely. Paloma was the most pleasant, engaging, and knowledgeable tour guide. It was an enjoyable tour, and we would certainly book this company again in the future. Highly recommended!

Visit to Chicen Itza, Valladolid, and Xux Ha Cenote - We had a great experience on our trip to Chichen Itza with Mexican Kan Tours. Before the trip, the team was communicative and clear with meetup details, and were quickly responsive to any questions I had. On the trip itself, our driver and guide were kind, helpful and informative. On the drive to Chichen Itza, our guide gave us a little history lesson about the Mayan people and Chichen Itza, and once we arrived we enjoyed walking through and learning about many of the structures with our guide. We also had some time to walk around ourselves. The lunch in Valladolid was delicious, and it was nice to have a little time to explore that town, as well. The cenote was truly beautiful and awesome, and was a welcome cool-down after a hot day. We never felt rushed at any location, and had plenty of time in each. The van we rode in was clean and stocked with snacks and drinks for the trip. Our driver and guide were great. We selected this company based on all the positive reviews on this site, and they did not disappoint.
