Awesome DWS experience - Had an amazing week in Cat Ba and a large part of that was down to the folks at Langur's. They were very friendly and responsive even before I booked anything with them and when I messaged them to plan the best time to visit. Taylor is a stand-out outdoor guide! She talked through and allayed our apprehensions about deep-water soloing. I've climbed outdoors a fair bit, but had never tried DWS. Taylor was very professional and obviously competent and that went a long way towards making me comfortable. Emmett and Tommy were watchful and in the water in an instant when they noticed one of the participants was having a bit of trouble getting back on the boat. All in all, we felt super-safe and in good hands. I had a blast and am certainly going back for more DWS, whenever I can! We also did a full-day kayaking trip with them that was beautiful and informative. Rented a climbing rope as well, and the rope they gave us was in great shape, we did some good climbs at the nearest crag on Cat Ba.

DWS in Cat Ba - unmissable experience - The whole trip was amazing, the hype was high and the entire group was vibing. Great local knowledge. Views and climbs were unparalleled. Never done anything like it, the grades have a good range from 4+ to 7c+. Pumpy awesome climbing, closer to sport than bouldering since you’re going so much higher!

The best trip in Vietnam - Had the most amazing day with langurs adventure, hands down the best thing I have done. The guides were really helpful and routes to climb for all levels. Wished I had booked the top rope as well. 100% Recommend

Deep Water Solo and Kayaking - We did 2 days of tours with Langur’s Adventures, one day of Deep Water Solo and one day of kayaking, and had two great days. As a first timer for deep water soloing with little climbing experience, Tuan found us some easier routes, giving tips on both how to climb and fall safely. He then guided me up and along the rock, advising where to put my hands and feet and allowing me to feel a sense of accomplishment at the end of the day. Our kayak tour with Nguyen took us to secret lagoons and deserted beaches, all while surrounded by spectacular scenery. Lan Ha Bay is a true world wonder of a natural site, and the perfect backdrop to some adrenaline filled activities, suitable to beginners and experienced alike. If you’re in Cat Ba, make sure to pay Langur’s Adventures a visit!

Safer than it looks. - Challenging routes and a very entertaining experience. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys climbing. It truly is a once in a lifetime experience

A must do tour on Cat Ba - I did a kayak and deep water solo tour with Langurs. The morning kayak took us through the floating villages and into a large lagoon where you could swim if you wanted. There was lunch provided on a floating restaurant which served fish, tofu, rice, potatoes and vegetables. The afternoon deep water solo delivered by Toan was amazing, he really new what he was talking about and picked up peoples climbing ability quickly, pointing out routes which would suit your climbing ability. Would highly recommended the kayak trip, it’s good for all ages and abilities. The deep water solo is an amazing experience but would only recommend if you have climbed before.

Highlight of Cat Ba, best way to experience it. - Fantastic day trip, great whether it’s wet or dry. Guides are awesome and the lunch was great too. Really good way to see the islands also. It’s worth having a moderate level of climbing proficiency before you do it.

First Deep Water Solo! - First time trying deep water solo and we had a great time! We got to climb a bunch of routes and jumping from the top was scary but so much fun. The guides are great at focusing on safety and comfort but also creating stoke to keep trying. I was also very happy to see how much trash they collected from the water and beaches to take care of this beautiful bay and climbing areas. Would definitely recommend anyone to book an adventure tour with them!

A perfect day with competent and friendly guides. Perfect climbing spots and equipment. - We had a perfect day out with Tuan and Hung! From the beginning to the end a very professional company. The woman in the office informed us very well and without pushing. The transfer to the boat was also well organised. In the morning we went for some kayaking around the islands and away from the crowds. The guide knew a lot about the islands and the sea-life. At lunch we had some delicious vegetarian food witch was not a problem to organise. In the afternoon we went for some deep water soloing at amazing spots. Again the guides were enormous competent and were always conscious about our safety. They helped us and explained us everything on a very handsome manner. We could always wish where we want to climb. So we could climb until we had no energy left. Overall we were sooo happy to choose this company and we can highly recommend it.

Amazing experience with great guides! - I went deep water soloing (half day tour) and it was amazing! The crew was very friendly. I got a lot of encouragement while I was climbing and a lot of tips of which moves to do (beta). With a laser pointer the guide showed how the route went and could assist me while I was on the wall. He was a very experienced climber. They gave me clear safety instructions and let me decide how I wanted to climb. If I didn’t feel like going high, that was no problem and if I did want to go high they encouraged me! The other people that were supposed to go with me on the trip cancelled last minute so I was the only climber and had a private tour. My girlfriend went with me to look, but not climb herself. They had a cheap option for this with lunch included for her as well. Because we were just us two we didn’t do the lunch on the boat, but instead we had the lunch in the big man bar under the office before we went on the boat. The food here was great. Even though I was the only one climbing that day, the guides were very patient with me and gave me all the time that I wanted and no rush to go back early. I could not ask for a more pleasant trip! I had not done any deep water soloing before and the experience was absolutely great. I can really recommend it to anyone who is looking for some excitement and the feeling of freedom at the same time. I left the trip feeling like a happy little boy :) Lan Ha Bay is an amazing area and to there while climbing felt very special. I will be coming back to Cat Ba some day to stay longer and do more climbing here.
