Immerse yourself in historical Trujillo - An Amazing Day with the Mochilea Peru people! - We loved the day with Julio and Cynthia! We visited two amazing archaeological sites, Chan Chan and La Huaca de la Lunes and La Huaca del Sol, narrated very clearly, audibly, and intelligently by Cynthia. The drive to and from the port through the countryside to the sites and through Trujillo was scenic and easy to view from the coach, and it too was well-narrated by Cynthia. We stopped for almost an hour in Trujillo at Plaza de Armas and toured the house of Simon Bolivar's stay, and even had time to take a snack and wander around the plaza and shop if you wished. Both Julio and Cynthia and other staff were very attentive, friendly, and professional during the tour, and the communication in advance with Julio was excellent. It was a day packed full of information and beauty. We definitely recommend this tour and the company. It was a highlight of our visit to Peru.

Enlightening - The excursion went beyond our expectations! They found out we didn’t need to be back on the ship until a few hours later than originally thought so with our permission they added sites to our tour. All unexpected. Went beyond what they needed to do

Well worth the full day - Very full day, with lots of interesting historical facts to help understand the way of life back in the day. Cynthia was very good at this. Julio was great at communicating instructions re meeting etc. We saw everything that was mentioned. Would recommend this tour if you're cruise ship is in port for the day

Pleasantly surprised - Very well organized. We saw many more sites than the ship tour at half the price. The tour guide was very informative and spoke good English. They met us right at the drop off and that was very conscious of our return time to our ship. They got us back in plenty of time. The best way to communicate with them through WhatsApp or Viator.

Wonderful day in Trujillo - Cynthia, our guide was amazing and so helpful. We saw and did so much on this full day tour. A truly wonderful time, and so professional. Don't even consider using anyone other than thus company.

A Great “High-Points” Tour for Cruisers - The tour met all of my expectations. We visited all of the places that were advertised. The beautiful colonial Plazas, the archaeological sites, the beaches, and the general scenery were all amazing. Cynthia, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable, friendly, and seemed truly excited about sharing her knowledge. Julio, the tour Director, was very communicative leading up to the tour; he made it easy for the customers to locate the Tour from the ship; and did all that he could to ensure that the group saw as much as possible. I highly recommend this tour.

Visit to Archeological Sites near Trujillo - Julio was amazing! He was very good at communicating with us before the tour and the day of the tour. And the guide he provided, Cynthia, was an outstanding guide and knew her history very well. We went to Chan Chan and the Temple of the Moon on this tour and Cynthia provided lots of information and history totally from memory. We also visited Trujillo. I give Julio and Cynthia 5 stars. The only reason I gave the overall experience 4 stars was because of 2 guests from the cruise ship who decided to eat breakfast late and made the whole tour late which then made us have to skip part of the itinerary. While I appreciate very much that Julio did not want to leave anyone behind, these guests put him in a bad spot and made 30 other people wait! Aside from that, the tour was excellent!

Bad day - this tour was mismanaged from beginning to end. We were 4 of 8 guests left behind. When we were finally able to meet up with the tour we had missed two of the top 3 sites. The timing was continued to be mismanaged so that we had no time to see the final site also. a disaster of a day. Along with that, the bus was advertised as A?C and it was not.

Paid Money-Got Nothing, and no Refund - This review describes our experience on January 14,2024. Our tour operator’s instructions said the tour would begin at 10:00 am. We arrived at the pickup point in Salaverry at 9:00 am, to be certain not to miss the tour. At 9:30 we began looking for someone from Viator associated with our tour. By 10:30 am no such person had appeared, and four other people from our ship were also wondering where the operator was. We finally realized that there would be no tour with Viator for us, so we booked a taxi and set out to explore on our own. When we got back to the ship, friends there who were supposed to be on the same tour, but at 8:00 am, told us that their tour had been very late-leaving around 9:00am. In any case, there was no tour for us and Viator refused to refund our money. If I could give a review in negative numbers, I would. Needless to say, we will avoid Viator tours in the future.
