Great guide, perfect size boat, not too big but not too small. Would recommend - Fantastic trip, easy pick up from Tromso. Guide was really interactive and informative. He really knew his stuff and did quizzing and teaching on the way out, really great. Boat can get a little rough on the way out but only lasts about 20-30mins so manageable. Would definitely recommend. Saw lots of Orca and a Sperm whale even in as weather. Great trip!

Cold trip but lucky! - It’s very lucky to see the whales! Except for the sickness on the ship. Everything is great! The tomato soup is tasty!

Incredible ! - I’ve had a wonderful trip ! The team was super nice and making everyone at ease. We were extremely lucky with the weather conditions and the animals. The only small improvement that could be made is to tell people about the bumpy path between the fjords - some people were a bit scared. Thank you for the amazing time and your contagious smile !

Super experience. - A great tour with super friendly staff. Be prepared for a bumpy ride in places and to get a little wet if on top deck. Best of all, we got to see whales surrounded by beautiful scenery.

Dream come true! - The most magical experience!! We came all the way from Stockholm and saw so many Orcas and Humpback whales with amazing scenery. A true dream come true! Super-guide Raul made the trip incredibly fun and had great knowledge about the whales! We are eternally thankful to guide Raul and captain Roger for making this possible and helping us with our booking!!! They were some of the kindest and most thoughtful people we met here in Tromsø. Absolutely 100% recommend this experience with Polar Adventures to anyone who is thinking about going whale watching!

Cancelled tour turned out great - Not totally what expected - but turned out to be a great trip! The crew did an amazing job and specially Pedro made our trip! We arrived after 3 hours to the whale watching area and after 2 min they told us we had to return to Tromsø due to bad weather. Out of the organizers hands, but a shame. A bit of rough weather all the way back - but as I said, the crew made our cancelled trip memorable. Hope to try another time! 👌

End of whale season, so no whales - Sadly no whales. Just a long trip on a fairly crowded boat. Beautiful scenery however and we saw eagles, and so it was worth it for that. Nice drink and biscuit selection which was well stocked up. Nice warning portion of soup also served. I do think the cost of this trip is significant and could possibly be reduced but I do not know what the outgoings of the company are.

Disappointing - Booked 2 tours with 2 different companies. This was the smaller of the two. The boat was overly crammed with people, difficult to move. We drove 2.5 hours out on the water and had a breakdown, mechinical issue, which took 5+ hours to get back, so no whales. These things can't be helped. Except the guide said dont worry, this marvellous company will do something great for us - a refund. If we wanted to rebook it was full price. So we spent 8 hours on a boat (lost a day of our trip), in poor weather (not their fault), to get just a refund. And thanks to currency exchange and bank charges, the refund was a 10% less than the cost by the time i got the cash back. Went with another company the next day, and all in all a better experience. larger boat - could move around, go in or outside throughout.

The worst trip ever. Don't take this trip - The worst trip ever. The ship broke (I heard the same thing happened recently again) and we had to take bus to return to Tromso. It took us 12 hours to make our way back.

Honestly I don’t even know - I traveled to Tromso for 3 days. This tour was going to be one of our experiences. We went out to see and 3h into the trip we were told we couldn’t make it to the whales point and would have to go back. They way back took 3h+ we never saw the whales and the trip still took 8h of our day. We wasted half a day that couldn’t get back. I believe this company should make sure their vessels are up to par before each trip to avoid this kind of issues. We did get a full refund but I will never get the time back
