Great tour. Highly recommandable. A Hightlight in the arctic winter - We had a fantastic trip. Our Tour-Guide Viktor gave many explanations about polar-lights und took nice pictures. He and the driver Jose chose a beautiful place to wait for the polarlights and we were lucky to see them late in the evening. We were sitting around a bon-fire, had a light meal with typical food from Norway . The pictures we took ourselves and his pictures are beautiful. This tour was our personal hightlight in Tromsö

Magical moments - We embarked on this great tour as a group of 6. First of all, a big compliment to our friendly and helpful driver José and of course to our guide Viktor - a charismatic professional with entertainment value. The chosen spot where we set up our "camp" and lit our campfire was far outside of Tromsø on a lake, nestled between mountains in a beautiful winter landscape. The sunset and the clear starry sky that followed were fantastic and when the northern lights appeared, first fantastically and then increasingly stronger, it became magical. Thank you for this wonderful evening.

No lights but great fun. - Unfortunately no lights but a great group and Lucia was a fantastic guide. Nice forest picnic and a long drive with no open sky. Still a fun experience.

Once in a lifetime - An incredible trip! A lot of effort and value was put into finding the best place for this exact moment. Sam was a great host. He told us a lot, explained things and took us to a place away from the large tourist crowds. It was one of those once-in-a-lifetime moments!

Great experience, even though the aurora did not cooperate with us. - The trip was well planned and well executed. The guide, and the driver both knew their business very well. The guide was in contact with other guides searching for brakes in the cloud cover. Our guide, Sam, was phenomenal. He was optimistic and fun and informative. It was late at night, it was cold, and the aurora didn’t wanna make an appearance, but Sam kept us entertained and active and happy. Wonderful experience, even if the aurora did not cooperate for us.

Guide got everyone in... - Guide got everyone in circle around fire drinking hot coco and talking while waiting for lights which was nice. Nice area by water with mountain as background.

Poor communication and engagement. Disappointing experience - Only tried for the lights 2 places (even though it was initially shared that we’d try more), no fire was ever made for us to sit around. One star for the excellent driver and another for the decent snack pack. But this tour is way overpriced for poor engagement and communication during the chase. I sadly had seen reviews proclaiming their awesomeness and thought even if we didn’t catch the lights it would still be a great time. I was wrong. Choose a different company.

Guide concerned with the wrong things and seemed inexperienced - This was a disappointing trip although we did see the lights. The guide was more concerned with reaching a spot 1.5 hours out of town even though the lights came out early and a friend on another bus only traveled 25 mins out of town and so got an entire additional hour of fabulous photos. By the time we stopped the best of the lights had faded. Additionally, we stopped at a tiny spot with three buses and bc I couldn’t get away from people, all my photos are littered with other people’s lights and cell phones. Just not a good experience.

Definitely not worth money with unprofessional tour guide - The guide was definitely not a good one. Don’t feel like she’s experienced about what she’s doing. Went out for chasing since 7pm keep on driving until a forest and set up a fire camp but then I felt like we just wasted our time there… then continue our journey but already almost 10pm… all these while the tour guide- Lucia did not explain where are we heading to just driving to nowhere and make us felt so disappointed…. The whole journey last for 7 hours but then the time we stand outside actually waiting for lights less than 30mins… we only changed 2 spots… the last one just asked us to get down look at cloudy sky and told us they already done their best in chasing… I don’t see their professionalism and passions about trying to max the chance of spotting lights, given that many ppl actually able to see it on the same day.

Very poor customer service - We had booked this tour several months in advance. We our whole week in Tromso planned. We showed up over 20 minutes early to found out our specific bus had been overbooked and had left 15 minutes before we had arrived! There were no spots so we were not able to go. They offered to put us on a tour a few days later but that meant entirely changing our plans for that day. The company blamed Viator but I suspect the overbook regularly and expect to get away with. Very disappointed with our experience.
