Amazing experience! - We took the tour in mid-February with tour guides Boris, Gabriela and driver Ragnar. They were extremely professional, experienced and friendly, providing us the best experience. Boris and Gabriela were consistently looking for the best places to see the Northern Lights with safety as number one priority. Eike in the central office was very helpful and ensured we got the right thermal suits and explained some of the logistics. We were very fortunate and blessed to have seen the northern lights multiple times that evening. It is not guaranteed that one will see the northern lights since it is a natural phenomenon however this team will do their very best to ensure you see them if there is any probability to see the northern lights. I would definitely do this tour again and recommend this team!

Memory for a life time - Simply amazing! Gabriel, Manuel and all the crew make our dream of seeing the Northern lights come true. They were very knowledgeable about Tromso, Northern Lights and all the good spots to see the lights. It was an unforgettable experience!

Amazing experience!! - Went on this tour two times. The first time there was bad weather and we travelled out to a coastal site with the best chances of seeing the northern lights. Our guide was so friendly and spent the drive telling us the history of different areas, what areas we were passing through, the science behind the lights, and what settings to use to capture them on camera. Unfortunately, we didn't see any (nature cannot be controlled) but it was still a great evening in an amazing location- the hot chocolate and biscuits were also nice. The guide tried four more possible locations that night, telling us where we were going, what the chances were, and which colleagues he was in contact with, but there was just too much cloud cover. Because we didn't see any, they offered a 50% discount on another trip, which I booked the next day as the weather was looking better and there was a higher chance of seeing the lights. So glad I did because we drove to an inland site, where we did manage to see the lights despite the cloud cover. Once again, our guide was lovely, the photographer and driver were both so friendly, and I had an amazing time.

Our Aurora Hunt - Although the Aurora we saw was very small, we still had a great time. The drive to the countryside is beautiful and our tour guide Gabriela was amazing.

Great experience - The weather was really miserable, snowy and cloudy but our guide was stubborn enough to present us with aurora! Great experience

Staff's bad attitude - We cannot see nothern lights, it's no problem because it is due to weather, not company's fault. But, when I asked about how to take pic for nothern lights to one of the staffs, his attitude was really bad. I enjoyed trip in Norway so far because people were very nice, but due to his attitude, I felt so sad.

Better tours elsewhere - We knew from our own research that it was very unlikely that we would see the northern lights due to both weather and KP index. But on these tours there are other aspects to look forward to such as the views of the night sky, hot drinks and extra information about the lights. However none of this was provided. We were given minimal information about the progress of the chase. No drinks were provided during the tour and no photographs were sent afterwards. When we got to a bit of clear sky, the tour guide seemed to wait for each person to give up after 30 minutes and gradually make their way back to the bus before getting back on themselves and silently driving back to Tromso. We had another unsuccessful tour the next day. But the experience was made special by the location, enthusiasm from the tour guide and photographs provided.

Below the standards of every chase in the region - Initially, I was hesitant to leave a review, but after comparing our experience with other tours, it became evident that this particular excursion fell significantly below our expectations. The presence of two guides was notable, with the male guide being particularly kind and informative about the Northern Lights, which we appreciated. However, our journey took us 1 hour and 30 minutes southward in an attempt to evade cloud cover. Unfortunately, we discovered that we were the sole car chasing Northern Lights in that direction on that day, a concerning sign considering all the other tours headed north. Our stops for Northern Lights sightings were in less-than-ideal locations, such as public parking lots surrounded by delivery trucks spending the night. This contrasted starkly with subsequent tours, which wisely selected picturesque spots with beaches and stunning landscapes, significantly enhancing the overall experience. Having participated in three different tours during our time in Tromso, this one undeniably lagged behind the other two. Regrettably, I cannot recommend it based on our less-than-optimal encounter.

Disappointed in the Guides and Experience - definitely not worth the money - If you want to see the northern lights, you are much better off renting a van and driving around on your own since we just bounced to different car parks. The guides would benefit significantly from improving their attitude / tone of voice. Despite the lack of electro-magnetic activity, they could have shared interesting facts, tell us about the area, or say something to excite us and make the high price worth it. They talked so slowly and negatively. They could have at least said nice things about the areas we drove by and stories about amazing times they did see the northern lights in a captivating voice considering how expensive this tour was.
