The Call of the Arctic

The Arctic has always been a place of fascination for me, a former Arctic researcher turned travel writer. The raw beauty and harshness of the polar regions have been my muse for years. When I heard about the Dog Sledding Adventure in Tromsø, I knew it was an experience I couldn’t pass up. After the ride, we had the chance to thank our canine companions, showering them with affection. We even got to visit the puppies in the kennels, a delightful end to our sledding adventure.

Returning to the warmth of the building, we were greeted with hot chocolate and cinnamon biscuits, a comforting treat after the cold. As we shed our snow suits, I reflected on the experience. Though the trip was short, it was a perfect introduction to the world of dog sledding. The cost, while not insignificant, was a small price to pay for such a memorable adventure.
