- Tromso - For an optimal view of the Aurora Borealis, it’s essential to leave the bright lights of Tromsø behind and venture into the Arctic wilderness. The route will be determined by the weather conditions that evening, as clouds can obscure the Aurora. Our main goal is to find clear skies, and if needed, we might even cross into Finland!
- Troms - Once we discover the perfect spot, we’ll seek a peaceful area, away from other groups and artificial lights. Patience is part of the adventure: the Aurora might appear within minutes or take a couple of hours. In the meantime, we’ll enjoy a bonfire, snacks, hot chocolate, and share fascinating insights about this magical phenomenon. During winter, temperatures can vary from +5 °C to -30 °C, so thermal suits will be provided to keep everyone warm.
If you have a camera, guidance will be offered on how to set it up for capturing the best Aurora photos. Additionally, professional photos will be taken to ensure you have an unforgettable keepsake of this special night.
- Troms - It’s important to remember that nature can be unpredictable: sometimes the sky might be overcast or solar activity might be low. However, even on the most uncertain nights, just 20 minutes of clear skies can reveal a breathtaking view. With extensive experience in local weather and advanced tools, every effort will be made to be at the right place at the right time.
Nights without the Aurora are rare, but they can occur. Therefore, a 100% sighting cannot be guaranteed.
The tour’s duration will depend on how long it takes to find the best conditions. Sometimes a 30-minute drive from Tromsø is sufficient; other times, a more extensive aurora hunt is necessary, traveling further to find a starry sky. Regardless of the night, an unforgettable adventure is guaranteed!
