This expedition will lead you through the stunning landscapes of the Arctic, acclimatizing to all environments, for a memorable journey!

Traveling in a highly capable 4x4 Toyota Land Cruiser, we’ll visit some of the most picturesque locales the Tromsø region boasts. Depending on the weather, we’ll explore the sandy shores and deep fjords of Kvaløya island, or the rural vistas of the mainland.

Once we leave the beaten path, we’ll embark on a scenic walk or light trek (based on the group’s fitness level), taking in pristine terrain, icy mountain lakes and awe-inspiring vistas. Whether the land is blanketed in ice or snow, we’ll equip you with everything you need to fully engage in this excursion: ice cleats, snowshoes, walking sticks & thermal gear, as well as foot and hand warmers. We’ll also provide professional photos of the tour, but feel free to bring your own camera!

A hearty soup for lunch, cookies & warm beverages for dessert will keep us cozy while experiencing the wilderness. Sounds enticing?

• This tour is not suitable for elderly participants, people with any injury, sickness, movement disability, wheelchairs, walkers, crutches. It is an active tour.
• You must be in good physical shape to walk at least 300m on uneven terrain that may be snowy, icy, wet and slippery.

• This tour operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately. Make sure you wear warm and water resistant clothes and have an extra layer with you and shoes/boots that are suitable for winter hiking and snow.
