Green Canyon Safari and Lion Cubs with Flying Horses - My wife, two sons (11 and 8 years old) and I did the "Green Canyon Safari and Lion Cubs" tour with the Flying Horses tour operator. Overall, we had a great day of fun. The itinerary and activities, including the pick up were well organised and on time. The tour leader, drivers and all the rest of the staff were polite and made our day fun. We really enjoyed the water fights during our travel to get there and from one activity to the next. Just be aware that you need to pay 4 Euros per gun to rent them. The first stop was the Zoo. We have to say that the visit to the Zoo was disappointing. We were give approximately 1hr to spend in the Zoo, but we spent it all queuing to get a picture with a little monkey and the lion cubs, so we did not have the opportunity of see anything else (pictures with the animals are 10 Euros per person). Also, although we were not expecting the Chester Zoo, we could see that the zoo is worn out and kept in not very good condition. It was also sad to see the Lion Cubs so skinny, tired and sleepy, very different to those shown in the flayers and posters used to advertise the tour. Clearly, they are over worked, and possibly not kept in the best condition. After the Zoo we kept going on with the water fighting until we got to our next destination, which was a restaurant where we had some time to relax and the kids had a foam party, which is basically a machine throwing foam and having loud music. It lasted approximately 15 minutes. From there, we went to have some pictures in the Canyon, followed by more water fighting while driving to the restaurant to have our lunch. The food was basic with no much choice (pasta, rice, mash potato, salad, bread and two chicken dishes. I do not eat chicken so I missed the "heavy dish"). Despite this, the food was acceptable and of a good portion. We had to pay for every drink, including water. Finally, we had the boat tour. This was basically going in the boat for about 10 minutes, parking it in the middle of the Green Lake and having 30 minutes free for swimming. We really enjoyed the swim and the tour operator had lifesaver jackets for those who needed. Green lake is a beautiful reservoir which is surrounded by also beautiful mountains and landscapes. Overall, we enjoyed the tour. If you want to reduce costs, you can bring some drinks and snacks instead of buying these in some of the places where the tour stops (about 4 or 5).

Green Canyon Tour with Flying Horses Tour - A tour with these guys is an unforgettable, emotion-filled day. During our week-long vacation in Turkey, we went on this tour twice because after the first time, my daughter insisted on repeating the adventure. Everything was wonderful. Special thanks to the tour drivers for doing their best to make your day memorable, despite the heat, various issues, and more. A big thanks to the coolest ones — Mustafa and Ibo 🫶🏻

100% recommend. - Loved every minute of this. Granted, the transfer was long from my hotel (cooks club alanya). Was over 2 hours, but well worth the journey. Canyon was beautiful, stopped off at a small dock where some people could fish and others like myself were able to jump in the canyon water and have a swim. Lunch was probably the most picturesque setting I’ve ever eaten at and the food was ok considering the price we paid for the entire day. Veronika was my point of contact and I couldn’t fault her. 100% recommend.

DONT GO - DO NOT GO!!!
went on the grand canyon full tour in turkey antalya
the trip was okay.. we had a water gun fight on the buses, which was very fun!!
as soon as we arrived to the zoo. i could tell this was unbelievably horrible.
they had two camels, two donkeys and one monkey in chains.
they were hitting the animals and they were clearly distressed.
got to hold the lion cubs, the way the workers hold and treat these lion cubs is unbelievable.
the cubs were clearly distressed and tired but the workers kept grabbing them and hitting them.
all the other animals were so skinny and un-well. they were hardly able to stand let alone walk.
the water and the boat ride was very fun!!
even the water gun fight was fun!!
these people don’t care about the animals…it’s just a way of making money.

The Canyons - The experience was pleasant. The only negative thing was the coach driver was not very friendly and didn’t speak any English, when accompanying international guests English is very important. His driving was rough with elderly and disabled children in the vehicle and sometimes very dangerous in some risky areas near the mountains. He wasn’t patient enough to wait during pickup and was going to leave some guests behind.
However the boat was fine.

Flying horse Safari tours (turkey) - Avoid this company!!!!!
My family booked this with faith it would be a great family day out.
The bus tour with the water fight was great fun, everything else was disgusting.
The lady doing the tour dressed so inappropriately and flashed her underwear more than once.
The zoo was just pure neglect, they are only out to make money from the animals.
The lions had no meat on them whatsoever, the animals were chained up.
I paid 500 Turkish lira for my daughter to hold a lion cub and she had it all of 10 seconds before it was snatched away from her, people next to us held them for a good few minutes.
I explained to the man there that it wasn’t fair and he became passive aggressive and had about 5 people surrounded myself and my kids. I repeatedly told him not to touch my children and more than once he did so, once he pulled my child’s arm and the second he pushed my child from behind to get us to leave.
The same gentleman was putting the takings into his pocket so I believe he was pocketing some of the money.
When you get sold this tour they leave out several bits of information, they say you get fed lunch, the food was cold and no drinks supplied.
So if you are planning to go on a tour with these people I would suggest you don’t but if you do, don’t believe what they say. You get to the water fight, you have to buy water guns, you get to the zoo and have to pay entrance and any pictures taken have to be paid for.
You get to lunch and have to pay for a drink.
The boat ride would of been nice if it wasn’t for the fact I waited in line to get a good seat for everyone that turned up at the end got to stand right at the front and block the whole view.
Smoking was being told it’s ok to be done inside even though I had a baby and a child with a heart condition. Someone literally put a cigarette hole in my child’s backpack.
Overall a rubbish service and no one ever has the rights to assault a child, that’s what the man at the zoo did.
