The Thrill of the Ride

The day began with an unexpected twist. I was lounging in my hotel room, sipping on a strong Turkish coffee, when a WhatsApp message pinged on my phone. It was from the Green Lake Jeep Safari team, informing me that they would pick me up right at the front of my hotel. This was a pleasant surprise, as my hotel wasn’t even on their usual pick-up list. I quickly gathered my gear, including a pair of sunglasses and a buff to shield against the dust, and headed out.

As I climbed into the Jeep, I was greeted by a group of fellow adventurers, all eager for the day’s escapades. Our driver, a charismatic man named Axe Rose, immediately set the tone with his rock ‘n’ roll playlist. He looked every bit the part of a cool rock dad, and his infectious energy was the perfect prelude to the adventure that lay ahead. The Jeep roared to life, and we were off, the wind whipping through our hair as we sped towards the Green Canyon.

Johnny Cash, our info guy, regaled us with tales of the canyon, while Mikki and Spiderman darted between vehicles, spreading laughter and good vibes.
